Although I’m more of a vinyl guy I do miss my CDs. Back in the early 2000s I had a book of 500 cds and I used to keep it in my car. Of course my car got broken into and all of them stolen. After that I started just burning cds from Napster/Kazaa/Bearshare/limewire. Then got back into vinyl. Wish I still had my cds.

This is awesome and I love that you put every CD by genre and for me I put mines in yearly order and artist alphabetically order Plus I only start owning CD's in 1994 so I couldn't back in the 80s when they were first released, you have quite an astounding collection and this is why people should listen to CD's other than downloading it from their phones or tablets

Great cds I had sell nearly my whole cds collection. My wife and I used to own 5,000 cds combined. We want from 5,000 down to 200. We are starting to try to re buy some but,not all 5,000. I mean we had 5,000 before we got married and had our first kid plus bills. I mean I think we had around 200 duplicates. I can't wait to see what you have. I follow your channel.

Great collection! Based on your tastes, I'd recommend The Beastie Boys "The In Sound from Way Out!", an all-instrumental album (very funky, 70's sounds) and Beck's "Mutations" (IMO his masterpiece). His "Sea Change" & "Morning Phase" are great too but more mellow, kind of countryish.

Of my approximately 1600 CDs, there are about 300 to 350 pieces by Japanese hard rock bands. This video gives me the idea to make such an overview video, starting with my Japanese CD cabinet. Sometimes the originals are better recordings than the remasters. I got over 5,500 CDs. Quite a few classical box sets and about half are classical. No Rolling Stones, AC/DC or Led Zeppelin.
