Are we supposed to do shadow keep before coast? I was following fextralife guide and I've done church town, but going to coast, but go not map. Told that to get map ya need to go to a first by getting something from the keep. But guide says to do keep after coast and a few other areas. Is that guided not correct? Anyone got a better guide? Or can tell me what's the best logical order to do regions in.

I would just explore naturally, if I were you. You are killing your sense of wonder by following a Guide. To answer your question, you can reach SK - and its Boss - early. You'll need a few Blessings to stand a good chance though.

@MistaFiOth well in my first play through elden ring, I missed a few things and did some areas out of order and completely skipped weeping peninsula. I don't want spoilers or to know bosses or items, anything like that. Just like which region makes best sense to go from. Like going to carian manor before celid due to story elements and stuff. I also have a bit of ocd so open world games can be a bit much for me. I really like an order of things that makes sense. So free range go wherever and figure it out even if you miss stuff gameplay is like nails on a chalkboard.

Then I'd say, take the Keep first. Cerulean Coast is optimal stuff, so you don't even need to do it to complete the main arc.
