As a guy that cleans cars as a side job, I appreciate the fact that you struggle sometimes to get cars clean. I enjoy watching your videos right now as I struggle to overcome leukemia. Keep up the good work, thank you for your videos!

$9.23. As usual, you knocked it out of the park, which is impressive, considering what you had to start with. Also, thank you so much for being considerate of your neighbors (17:00). It seems like each neighborhood my husband and I have lived in has had at least one house where the people literally do not care about what noise they make in the middle of the night, so I appreciate this on a deeper level than some. Even if your actual neighbors don't know, I thank you on their behalf.

I encountered a minivan with similar floor mats.. I spent over 2 hours working on them just to finally call it done. Told the owners that they really should invest in new ones but they wanted to keep them to save money.. a whopping $50 saved but you are paying the detailer almost $150 to clean your van? I ended up buying new ones for them as a special treat. Folks.. know when to hold them and know when to THROW THEM OUT!
@dianaposada67812 жыл бұрын
People just don't appreciate hard work sometimes, and it a shame y had to buy the mats for them. Cleaning is hard, whether is at home or anywhere else, "MAKE SURE Y TIP DECENT, AS Y WOULD LIKE IT IF Y WERE ON THE OTHER SIDE"

You have to say to yourself, you certainly didn't make it dirtier, don't be so hard on yourself. The results are amazing. Over 300k miles worth of dirt that's a challenge a majority of detailers would bail on. Only the elite could tackle this.

I would like to suggest you using chemical and time method for cleaning floor mats by soaking them in hot water or hot water and detergent for a while, while you clean other things before you proceed with cleaning chemicals and agitation. It surely helped me a lot as I never needed pressure washing after that

Could removing the seats blow the air bags?
@CesarMoura32 жыл бұрын
It can if you don't do it properly. First, your car must ALWAYS be turned off. And as good safety measure, I always disconnect the battery as to not het any airbag lights on the gauge cluster. Then it's just disconnecting the wires on the bottom of the seat AFTER the car being completly off. After you're done, connect it all again and only then turn on the car. Make sure everything is connected as it should, there's usually a click as a sound cue when reconnecting the wires. But it's fairly simple.

I don't know if this will help. But if you leave the car carpets submerged in water and detergent overnight its 1000000 times easier to get all the stuff off.
@StaufferGarage2 жыл бұрын

@mariegarner87702 жыл бұрын
I would say try the laundry stripping process. Get a large tote, fill it with the hottest water possible, add 4 tablespoons each of Borax, Arm & hammer super washing soda, powdered tide, 8 tablespoons white vinegar, and, if there's an odor problem, 2 tablespoons arm & hammer odor blasters powder. The a&h odor blasters powder works on mildew and pet mess odors (I rescued some quilts from my grandmother's house that smelled of mildew using the a&h odor blasters powder.) But it's a combination of all of those products that really does the trick when it comes to cleaning. They are all over KZbin for cleaning clothes, couch cushion covers, cloth diapers, towels, sheets and blankets, pillows, workout clothes, and even military soldier field garment gear protective clothing. (??? Disregard the poor sentence structure there, please. To all service men and women, I apologize very much for that poor description.) Also, turn the carpets over and do the under-side the same exact way as you normally do for floor mats - vaccuum, shampoo, drill brush, extract, etc. - and you'll get more dirt out. And hang up the things on a clothes line thingy and beat them with a broom to get more dirt out prior to the extracting parts. Every little bit helps. Hope this helps.
