Omg! 🙈 first of greetings from germany. Then, we have the hybrid version of this car. But ours doesn't even have one piece of dirt in it, since my husband is a pro car detailer as well and he can't stand a dirty car. Imagine his reaction upon seeing this poorly treated corolla 🥺. Well basically he's kind of taken abback on how many dirt disasters of cars you show all the time. I mean is this a thing in america to trash your car and literaly drive around in this germs and grimes ? Sorry but that is really nasty Though it's strangely satisfying to watch you clean up that mess and make the car nice and shiny again. So to end this, i want to say thank you and stay safe and healthy.

Top tip If it spills/falls/stains address the spot or situation IMMEDIATELY don’t let it sit for later (I keep a milk crate full of detailing supplies in my car for these situations but simply 3 microfibers and any small bottle of apc will do for people that don’t want to do that)

9/10 details I do on my car are exterior. Takes me about 3 hours to do. Having no access to water and electricity was the biggest hinderance. The best tool I bought is a battery powered pressure washer. Combined with 2 20 liter canisters, I have enough water to wash my car. The foam cannon isn't that great, but it does the job well enough. I usually pre-rinse, coat one section with soap using the foam cannon, go over crevices with detail brush, then contact wash with a mitt with the foam still on the car, then rinse off again. I do it this way because of the dry hot climate where I live, to not let the soap dry. I find this method to be very good at removing nearly all of the dirt. I also use the meguiars snow foam in a 1/5 mix with water. it cleans very well, but is quite expensive. For tires, I found meguiar's all purpose cleaner works best. I don't have issues with brake dust because I have a hybrid and it rarely if ever uses the brakes.
@auto-dieselmed3 жыл бұрын
Detail Tip: 1. Always pay more attention to the interior then you would think you should. (The driver sits inside the car where they begin to find everything a detailer missed) 2. When buffing, make sure the paint is cool to the touch before starting, don't let the product dry(it'll "sand" the paint), let the buffer do the work, no need for pressure......

Detail Tip# 128: instead of spraying the LCD screens in cars, take your micro fiber cloth, spray water on it and take a plastic razor and wrap the wet part around it (this is where having the actual handle for the razor comes in handy, they are cheap on Amazon) and use it like a squeegee, not to much pressure and go up and down the screen and then wrap a dry part off your towel around it to dry. This prevents streaking, and possible wear and tear on the screen by spraying chemicals on it so many of y’all have voiced.

Hey Guys I’ve been detailing for 20 years on my own shop in rusk East Texas the biggest thing about detailing that I’ve seen other detailers do is Rush the job and not do quality work the biggest thing that I have seen him do is not clean around the back hatch of SUVs or the trunk of the cars guys we have to do better as detailers specially when you pay your bills detailing cars

Keeping an extra bag from the store in my passenger side eliminates any urge to toss trash in the floor, then I usually just toss the bag when I’m getting gas. I also have a sturdy tote in my trunk that I keep anything large that I know I’m not going to want to carry into the house. This is what I’ve learned I have to do to keep my car clean and tidy.

I would say the best tip (even though it may be annoying) is to change rags if you drop it. Doesn’t matter where you dropped it, if it looks dirty or not. Better to not take the chance of scratching up surfaces or transferring dirt. Dropped 4 rags earlier 2 were fresh rags
