Complete ENGINE REBUILD - Cheap Yamaha YZ 125 Rebuild - 04

Hi,
In this video, I will take you guys with me on the process of fully rebuilding my Yamaha YZ 125 engine. This isn't by any means a tutorial on how to do a engine rebuild, more a relaxing video (ASMR Style) for people that enjoy engines being build :D But ofc. everything is in order, and you could follow along to rebuild your own engine.
For my engine, I've put in the following parts, all brand new:
Main bearings
Gear bearings
Water pump bearing
All seals
All gaskets
Piston
Cylinder replated

Hab das alles aus Italien bestellt bei MXPositivo die haben wirklich alles was man braucht und auch zu angemessenen Preisen. Nur der Versand nach Deutschland dauert halt etwas. Glaube hat ca. 2 Wochen gedauert.

I removed my inner clutch cover case to fix leak and did not see which way the power valve gear came out in, does it need to go back in certain position or any position fine?

It is a 98, and i believe 94-04 are same

Any gear rotation is fine 👍🏼 Just make sure it sits properly, if it doesn’t the case won’t fit correctly

Hello, im back, that did help me intall the power valve governer thank you. I put new gaskets on and put the side covers back on (inner clutch and clutch). I do believe everything lined up and i was able to turn the motor over smoothly. I then got bike running without clutch cable attached and sounded good. I then attached clutch cable with pin the pins lining up and with the lever in correct positioning, thennstarted the bike and sounded like my clutch was grinding so killed it after like 5 seconds. Kickstarter locked up, so i took plug out and ignition cover off and was able to turn the motor over that way, i now have top end completely off and side covers off again. About 1 in every times i turn the motor over, it gets crunchy and rough? Any ideas????? Thank you.

@@intaniik5743 really hard to tell what it could be. I would recommend to check if you can see any grinding or wear on the case. You’ll figure it out 👍🏼

Tusk crank puller tool 👌🏼 but there are some cheaper china versions of that wich work aswell 👍🏼

Hi, Für die DT hab ich das meiste auf EBay Kleinanzeigen gebraucht gekauft. Teile die dringend neu erforderlich waren hab ich dann im Yamaha oem Shop bestellt.

Nein der Kolben von der YZ ist kleiner als der von der LC2. DT und LC2 haben allerdings den gleichen.

Erstmal liken. Wo hast du den feinen Motor Ständer her und was kostet? Sind eher teuer hab überlegt ob man das für den Preis sich nicht selber baut...🤔

Danke :)! Den gibts bei 24MX momentan sogar billiger, glaub 40 Euro hab ich gezahlt. Ist zwar von der Qualität nicht gerade der beste, aber bei dem preis absolut top!

Gibt nicht für alle Motoren ein Gasket für die Motorhälften, wird bei der YZ original auch mit Dichtmasse zugemacht :)!
