This is the best explanation I have found on KZbin / Google. Your presentation style is far better than Google manage. You have covered a lot of material here, I think this would get even more traction if you made a shorter version which did not cover all the options. Do not delete this video but make a 10 to 15 minute version which just says Do this, next do this. Very little reason why. I have watched a number of videos covering this topic and yours is the best. I suspect people have looked at the length 1.55.11 and not given it a chance.

My "Reports" section in Google Analytics (at the min marker 16:55 in your video) looks different than mine? I do not have an "Engement" dropdown menu option. Only "Generate Leads", "Drive Online Sale", "Raise Brand Awareness", and "Examine User Behavior". How can I add or find the "Engagement" section? Also, when I try to add a new conversion event in Google Analytics, the text showing the number of characters turns red, which prevents the save button from activating. Any advice on what I might be doing wrong?

Yes I will, I follow OptimizeSmart and they have great GA4 tutorials. I can do a basic set up though and the main reports I use to track traffic/conversions.

Great video, thank you. One question to the shopify setup: Is it really necessary to create GA4 via the Tag Manager if you have already done this connection via the Shopify plugin "Google & KZbin"?

Thanks for the very helpful video. Regarding the section "Google Ads Shopify Conversion Tracking", once everything was set up conversions were automatically imported into Google Ads from Shopify. However, for most of these conversions, it seems as though these conversion events are not being tracked within Google Analytics. Should we perhaps recreate those Shopify imported conversions within GTM as GA4 events, mark those events as conversions in GA4, then import them into Google Ads? Then just deleted those imported events from Shopify in Google Ads?

Question about THANK YOU pages in GOOGLE SEARCH campaigns: If I have 5 campaigns, one for each state, and I am geofencing each campaign to each state, do I still need to setup 5 different landing pages in order to effectively steer my campaign with conversions? e.g. thanks-texas, thanks-alabama, thanks-wyoming, thanks-montana, thanks-california, etc ? Instead, if I just put one thank you page as "thank-you" is that okay in the case where I am geofenced in each campaign? I really don't have time to create 5 separate thank you pages and configure 5 difference conversions in GTM and GA4...do I really have to do that?

As long as you are tracking the form submission when it is submitted, you can track the button link text using GTM. Otherwise, you can redirect traffic to a Thank You page and track the thank you page as a conversion.
