Did you know that, the ppm meter your using in this video, has a hidden button? If you press right between the 2 buttons there's a button that reads the temp also. I found by accident. Pretty cool find I guess. I don't know, I was happy.

Deep water culture. Roots grow directly in nutrient solution, and oxygen is provided by an air pump.

So I can't find a link for a 12 week guide for soil grow only hydroponic. Your website says 12 week guide, it doesn't say it's only for hydroponic grow or I would have gotten a hydroponic setup...

But what if you're doing soil? I got the HID soil kit. It didn't come with any nutrients. Just the pH up & pH down. I'm assuming the nutrients are already in the soil then?

What reaction will happen if you don't dilute first?
@GrowAce6 жыл бұрын
The nutrients will have an uneven distribution of nutrients, potentially harming the plant.

OK, I just watched the grow tent video on your website. My concern is about ventilation using the soil grow system. What if I just let the ventilation vent go back into the room instead of outside. What would happen?
@GrowAce6 жыл бұрын
As long as the room has proper air circulation and you do not mind the smell coming from the exhaust vent this should not be a problem. If these requirements can not be met, the same air that was vented out will be circulating back into the tent, not causing very little change in air quality and temperature. If this is the case, a few clip fans would be more beneficial than an array of fans and ventilation tubing.

This seems like the best way for me to grow indoors in my basement in area 6. What do you think?
@DonaDavis6 жыл бұрын
I will be using soil. Is there a drip system for this? I can grow during the winter months this way. I look forward to it. I will need help setting up though. Do you have any suggestions besides family and neighbors? Although they are great people, they know nothing about what I am doing. Thank you. I can hardly wait for you to let me into our facebook group. My request is pending.
@GrowAce6 жыл бұрын
Depending on the size of tent you may be able to do the set up on your own. If its still a hassle there are apps that you can use to hire people for services. I believe one is called TaskRabbit. All plants and variants grow in different environments, so depending on what you're doing you'll probably be ok in the basement. We love our community and aim to help as much as we can.

Since we have 4 seasons here I did not want the winter air coming in my grow tent because it may be too cold. What do you think? What can I do to help my plants in the fall and winter months? I want to grow all year long.
@torrielandsman46253 жыл бұрын
I have no problems growing with my tap water that has 175 PPM in it from the tap, I know that my tap water has about 100 PPM calcium and contains micro nutrients so I adjust for it. Call your municipality and ask what is in their water so you are able to adjust and not pay for expensive water, or collect rain water it was distilled by God.

Why confuse everyone with nutrients when you can use organic super soil?
@DonaDavis6 жыл бұрын
In my grow tent can I grow more than one veggie in a pot? For example, can I grow tomatoes and cherry tomatoes together? Garlic/turmeric/ginger? Or not? Can I grow more than one herb in the same pot like parsley/cilantro/tyme/rosemary. Will I have separators or is that something I need to invent myself? LOL. I am really getting excited.
@GrowAce6 жыл бұрын
depending on the size of pot its doable however we strongly recommend have separate pots for produce.

I just watched your videos and am wondering if I got the Hydroponic System how often will I need to change the water. If I got the Soil grow system will it be less labor intensive?
@GrowAce6 жыл бұрын
Hydroponics typically takes more effort than other grow methods, as it requires more equipment and daily maintenance and inspection of the plant, hoses and pump. Soil requires far less maintenance as there are fewer factors individual parts that can go wrong, but produces less consistent results because of the constant change in soil quality and composition. Either can be good options for growing.
@voidremoved6 жыл бұрын
hydro is supposed to produce faster than soil... but soil can be more forgiving. with soil you can get dirt all over your floors... with hydro you can get water all over your floors?

You're completely wrong about the seeds vs. Clones. I don't know where you get your information from but for starters a seed comes with a Taproot and to be honest if you're a respectable cultivator small or big you're still going to have seedlings and you're still going to choose from those and you're still going to produce your own cross breeds
