2 minutes in and this is the best guide on rotation I've seen on youtube

Clearest explanation of this I’ve ever seen. Well done for using land-based guide. Much clearer than the water based demos. Keep up the good work.

I've been struggeling working on proper rolling movement after the entry for quite some time now (which also had a negative effect on my breathing technique). This explanation will help me a lot working on my key issue - front arm movement after the entry! I've only tried to "swim tall" for a better glide and was very successful with one arm breathing drills but could never really "connect" when swimming. Looking forward to my next swimming session :)

excellently explained ... I have dropped my times from 2;10 per 100m to 1:45-1:50 per 100m and reduced strokes as gliding more effeciently -- many thanks

Can you please show more of this in the water. I have trouble when I breathe with my hand dropping and pushing down; like you demonstrated. Thank you.

I have been kicking with the wrong leg on two beat style.
Super helpful! Thanks. Would doing pool boy drills help me to get it right?

Great As Usual Coach Rafa... Let me share my experience it may Help.... I noted for all fishes Head is fixed ... every thing comes after head.. What I mean ..Imagine there is something fix your head in the water ..head moves forward all times ..two arms move back and forward ... Every time get your chest little downhill.. imagine you are diving with little slope with water ...your head is reference point for whole body and front hand move forward and down.. and crawinling hand moves back ... and both moves parallel with center line of body all times..... every time when swimm do not feel your body is rolling .. no ... fell your body moves forward ..actually rolling push half side of body forward ..and half body back ...... rolling .. imagine you lie in a flat floating board in the water and you crawinlg by hand you roll to one side ..keep it aligned .. roll crefully to keep balance .. crawl by other side that automatically will roll your shoulders and chest .. when you crawl you try to keep you inertia force pushing you and board forward.... Many Many Thanks Coach Rafa .. You are one who explains Mechanics of swimming in excellent way.. All The Best Mecheil Edwar..

Very well explained, thank you. One question though, what initiates rotation? Is it: the reach and stretch of your forward (gliding) hand; or, is it a muscular hip/ab flex; or, is it the well timed kick? Again thanks!
