Yes. The base cards are no longer a way of upgrading an x-factor. Just simply the x-factor tokens and coins

Both are right around 800k to make a captain or a holo. The issue is that you also have to pay for their upgrades all year lol, there just isn’t any chase cards out that are worth it

There is also a Lundqvist PUI in the game that cannot be used towards PUI Holograms. It also says NY Islanders at the bottom of the card.

This looks to be an error on the card art which means they had to remove it and then find a way to add it back in. If you got him in the stasrter pack theres not much that can be done it appears. Really stupid.

Just now after a game Lundqvist was being removed from my roster and wouldn't let me start another with him in the lineup. A Modern Icon Choice Pack was in my inventory and Lundqvist was gone entirely from inventory.

Does anyone else notice the glitch when completing sets? For example when you trade in 4 lower rated players for 1 higher rated player it only shows 1 player, the other 3 disappear. The set still works but it’s annoying because the ‘invisible’ players you cannot send back to your collection. Same with happens with team builders and probably all the other sets too.

You talk about pure wingers, is there a real down side to using Centers on the wings? All my X Factors, Power Up Icons and other really good players are Centers so I’ve just put them in the wings over mid to high 70s wingers. Also, I love the Kraken hat.

Pure winger means that they are bad at faceoffs. Centers hold their value better as you can throw them on the wing

I used my 10 hour free trial and honestly dont think ill be playing hut this year, had a 99ovr team in nhl24 but now everything feels way more confusing for sets, way too much grinding, new reward system is terrible, same cards we have used forever, gameplay felt much worse not better than last year.

I honestly took my power up icons out of my lineup already, they're just not players I see myself using in the long run, went with an all current Buffalo lineup instead and honestly started playing better once I did. Probably going to be my lineup for most of the year. I appreciate your content man but honestly these icons are just not for me, short of Patty fa LA LA LA LA LA LaFontaine of course.
