Another thing about the leap that is very important to know is that you can cancel it with vicious rampage, basically that allows you to perfectly control the range of your leap, the leap has a 10m distance so if you find yourself missing a lot of your leaps you can use vicious rampage to end the leap earlier, being more precise and still having the ATK speed buff from the leap. You can even combo these two with your Ult, first Ult, feral leap, instant cancel with rampage.

all you need to do is either switch to dps if your playinf double tank and you can trust tge other tank or you switch to a tank with strong mobility and fall back sometimes. yes your team will lack a tank. tell them to switch to another high mobility tank or analyse what there team is missing cause if your not at the front line and your other teammates also have good mobility theyre wolverine doesnt have much value and they are also lacking something(tank, healer or dps.)

when youre getting thrown by hulk, you can actually activate undying animal while in his hand. activating it before the throw can help you survive the launch if theres a lot of enemies nearby

I recalled a video saying he's a good tank killer. It came to mind while I was facing this super frustrating team who was using a thor, peni and punisher with rocket (plus a cloak and dagger) and they were just pestering my team. I was originally playing tank and saw that they had two tanks and went "wait, wolverine is said to be a tank killer...", switched to him...we won lol I'm sure it won't always work, but it did that game. plus his ult came in handy during the final push.now I'm here to learn all I can about him and his abilities just in case

If you’re smart about when to push you can melt the healers just as fast as the tanks. But only if you take out their tank first and you have your team pushing up to support you

yea but all his abilities doing percentage base damage you basically need to do the whole combo again just to kill a healer. better to just dive out and recharge unless your able to get healed in the midde of the battle and tank through the damage til your abilities recharge and do it again.

as a wolverine main he needs more overall damage and range, and slightly more mobillity, the problem with wolverine is that while yeah he's good at killing tanks, most other good duelists, like starlord can already do that albeit a little worse than wolverine, plus they actually have a use outside of killing tanks, wolverine is practically useless against squishies, when most other duelists can already do what wolverine is good at and can fight squishies as well.

The main problem is that he’s really only a tank killer and that’s it. He has soo many issues but he’s fun. 1. Damage is way to low on lower Hp targets causing you to lose lots is easy 1v1s you’d win with almost every other melee characters. 2. His dive is way to hard to control could have made that move 100x simpler.

I feel like he needs maybe 5-10 increased base damage, a reduction on the total percent health damage, and a slight tweak to the size of the grab's hitbox, as it's very unreliable. With those he would be pretty solid all around.

@@ZestyGuides He needs some tweaks to where if you manage to snatch an iron man out of the air he needs to be able to finish them... you can't imagine my disappointment when i hit one with my leap earlier today, ripped into him with the attack speed bonus, and then jumped up and chased him with the right click and more slashes hitting in the air and he just flew away and lived :(

​@@ZestyGuidesthis is the advice i was looking for. missing with his leap in the middle of heated battle is a pain in the ass for me because i like to tank out damage and get some heal to try for a 2nd before i dive out for full heal and recharge. it helps build for ult alot faster as long as you have decent heals.

@@MoistPenguinz0Clips im really trying to get good with him and i play mostly quick play so i can say he doesnt perform too good because he relies a lot on teamwork and requires everyone including the enemy team to be doing their job as part of the team, but its really a shame cus they focused on making him the tank buster but left him somewhat defenseless to other dps that can just out damage him. He couldve easily been a thor type of character that is tanky but can also do really good damage but yeah, at this point i dont think he will get a rework because most of these high elo players keep saying that hes busted and that word spreads around so its really over i guess lol

I feel like wolverine is one of the hardest dps to play considering basically the only thing he can confidently do is take out tanks which you have to time almost perfectly because in some situations especially when the enemy team is in a huge group that’s really hard to do unless you’re really good at going in and dashing out with the tank which takes a decent amount of time to perfect considering how easy he is to kill in a group of enemies

Not all targets you knock into the air will be brought with you. You have to actually travel through the target after knock up to slam them down.

Unreliable indeed. I think it's about practice and finding the correct angle. The hitbox is pretty bad and it's too bad when it misses. Still working on it myself to get it down reliably

As with all dashes in the game, try and aim to the right of the opponent instead of to the left, due to the 3rd person view, all attacks are more likely to land if aimed towards the right side.

His damage is really low against low health targets. Most can just stare him down and kill him. Or quick disengage after his tackle and then kill him before he gets to you again. Very weak against most duelists

We have to remember "It's not fun for me" doesn't mean it isn't fun for anyone. I know several wolverine players that are really happy with how it feels, and it's a unique playstyle that definitely isn't for everyone. Though it can feel bad when you're favorite character's playstyle doesn't match your expectation.
