With all the time and effort you put into this you could have made a video bashing Riot for not helping content creators enough while you continue to use their intellectual property without having to pay them anything and wonder why maybe they do not infact do more outside of the Creator Lab, features on the Client, contest, and Summoner's Showcase, etc when all people make is videos about quitting, the game being ruined, or dying ha-ha-ha Or just not. And do this. Content. Which was SO GOOD. Man what a trip down memory lane! You-deserve-more-subs. To this day I still feel iffy on Serrated Dirk over Brutalizer, use to be a sick item on a Zap Max Jinx build back in the day. Really like the effort in this because if I am going to watch the WHOLE thing 100% it feels like every minute was not wasted learning something. In conclusion, as much work as this is, I'd love to see this series continued! Maybe at least for the top ten most popular champions (Yasuo, Zed, Riven, Jhin, uh...Lee Sin, Vayne, Teemo, Rengar, Katarina, and maybe Jinx though only us that crave despair play her on the current patch) Idk what the actual top ten are btw but what I am saying is I'd watch that. Obviously give yourself some time off though since this must take months to make and don't rush putting one out like once a month. Great job, worth the watch, can't wait to see what or who is next, well done.

I have no idea why you don’t have so many more subs. I’ve been subbed for a while and have since moved on from Riven, and I can understand why at first you didn’t get a ton of subs (if you focus your channel on one champ specifically your viewerbase is gonna be smaller). But like now in the past year you’ve made these crazy vids with an insane amount of professionalism in them. Super interesting as well. ""...Riven had no sustain built in her kit..." This reminds me of my friend who actually invited me to play League. Back when Riven was new, builds were really dfferent, you could build same few of item and still be effective. So he played Ninja Tabi + 5 Bloodthirsters. Bloodthirster was a stacking item back then, capping at 70 or 80 AD and 20% lifesteal. So at full build he had 350-400 bonus AD and 100% lifesteal and was totally unstopable. He managed to outlive most of CC and get back to full health in 2-3 hits even if he got low. Only thing that could stop him is 2-5 seconds of constant stun and not all compositions had this or execute it properly. And I miss that time when most ADCs built boots, IE, 2 BTs and 2 PDs :D

Riven has been one of those champs Ive always looked at in envy. Flashy playstyle, deep mastery curve, and cool lore. Sometimes I wonder if back in season three, when was making my choice for my main role. If should of picked top instead of support. Either way great vid Exil. Plus, if you manage to get mid and there's that Yasuo who wants to go mid, you either give way or risk having a singed/teemo running it down mid.

From Yasuo main (up to 60k) to Vayne(up to 140k) to a Riven main(up to 55k, but about this much time into reading guides and build, and animation cancelling) and now a Draven main(currently). I have always loved these champions and I really don't like people who trashtalk about them - being toxic and unskillful is the player, not the champion. I have always adored these types of carry style(although supports are also enjoyable, and the best carries in the whole game). Whenever the role or the champion, they are all fine and just can't stop fighting for their place in the meta. But you, Exil and all of the editors and producers, are really determined to play Riven. I can confirm, this champion is absolutely amazing and all of those skill cancel-animations are pretty cool to see in a matchmade game. You are part of the reason(~70%) why this "toxic champ, that turns the player into a diamond smurf" is still so appealing to me. Your guides, thoughts, videos and all of those hours on this champion, one of the 141 champions (06.2018), really made my Riven and overall League experience better and got me into really deep analyses and thoughts about the game. This video is no exception. I understood so much about the precious meta and picks. These types of things got me even more into the game's and in particular - Riven's history. Thank you for being so determined with Riven, Sincerely "a diamond smurf"(a.k.a. a not so silver player hahaha, Lolof is just a pseudonym by the way)

I think Riven is the least fun champion in league. All she does is CC locks and nukes enemies around herself, then walks away full hp because of her shield. She is a 1v0 or a PvE champion. Minions have more counterplay than Riven so her opponents can just go afk and have more fun that way.

Domasiukas I get your point, but to be fair, her cc both 3rd q and w only last 0.75 secs I think and the shield has to be quite well timed but yes there is a lot of potential for own playstyles. The mobility, utility and survivability make her fun to me and I think that by she isnt op by any means. You have to be quite a decent Riven player to make the most of her kit and you get shit on by many tanks.

The real problem with riven is this : you NEED to train with her . All other champ you can do fairly well and be in the top 20% without as much as trying . Other champ got mechanics that require you to press a button or position yourself but fairly easy to get , riven mechanics require you to pump out the APM and if she is just balanced tif you do. You have on one end someone chilling and someone putting a lot of effort doing similar stuff. That the reason riven are though to be toxic : you NEED to give 200% of what the enemy is doing to even achieve standard play and that taxing.(Compare games played % win rate of riven , renekton and garen) In terms of reward per effort riven is the worst champ (except maybe some support) and with the release of so much new champ with high reward mediocre effort (the new one just being: having the good gun on hand) .It's the reason why riven have fallen out of play : she is fun but require to much to reliably win.
