Love the video. I did my PPL training with AFI in 2009 at Fullerton. I fly around the midwest now in a 172.

I like this type of video. It helps being a private pilot working on instrument rating to compare my experience with others.

Videos like this really make me want to fly. I don't have a license so it makes me want to fly in my sim. Keep up the awesome videos.

Hi Genc. Really good to hear from you again, hope your well. There was a few of us in An Fsx stream for Belynz on twitch the other night who were discussing how much we all miss your Fsx videos of old. We all learnt so much from you then you just dropped of the face of the earth regarding Fsx. Most of use have or are moving over to Lockheed's P3-D now, which as you probably know has Fsx at its core, and we were wondering if you would ever do anymore flight sim content in the future? Many thanks.
@FSX4049 жыл бұрын
First thanks for the nice comment. Im glad I could help out. My FS videos were always based on real flying. I used real world scenarios and flight rules to tie the sim and real world, and make thw sim more than just a game. But, aside from world locations and bigger planes, my actual flight videos are a practical reflection of everything I showed you in the simulator. Same principles, just in real life. A sim pilot should be able to use these to benefit him/her just as they use the sim videos. I wish I had the time to make more world wide exotic sim videos, but with a family now that is very hard. Maybe I will make more sim videoa in the future, I just dont want to make a promise if Im not sure I can keep. Anyways guys, those of you who have followed me for a while and been with me tbrough this journey, I have no doubt that you're capable of taking everything you have learned and using it. A teacher can only teach a student so much, and a day comes when the student becomes a teacher too ☺

good flight gene,nice approach.must be challenging flying around socal
@FSX4049 жыл бұрын
It is challenging, but to those of us who trained here it just seems normal. If you trained in a more sparse area, than SoCal can be intimidating. Thx for the comment

Genc Vadiku funny thing is I fly out of millville nj (kmiv) in south jersey.It is between philly and atlantic city (class c),and of course south of NY.although I'm instrument rated,I only fly vfr around here,and pretty much don't have to deal with any of the controllers...btw I came across your channel when you did the 10 most challenging airport series.They were really done well,and I thought you did a great job with the approaches on flight sim

Great video! I'm a Brackett boy, best damn airport in SoCal.... And a shoutout to Dr Phillipp! Best AME in SoCal! You fly his plane often?
@FSX4049 жыл бұрын
thanks, I fly this plane with Dr Phillipp every Sunday (usually). He's a great AME. I learned to fly at POC 20 years ago, its still my favorite airport.

Don't think I'd fly that plane. Given the condition of the interior, it's clear it's not looked after. Dirty wheel, torn upholstery all suggests it's not cleaned, and probably not well maintained. Would make me really sus of the FBO
@FSX4049 жыл бұрын
Actually, my friend owns it and I've never seen a plane better maintenanced. Anything even minor is taken care of ASAP. When we do the prefilght, my friend actually cleans the plabe top to bottom, not even dust remains. Even bug spots are removed after every flight. We are the only ones who fly the plane and we both know how the plane is flown every flight for years. Engine is never abused and power changes are gradual. And no crazy deacents to supercool the engine. If there is one plane I trust it is this one. We should never judge a book by its cover. The interior upholstery needs to be replaced but that is a $7000 investment in a $45K plane that is not essential to flight. However, my friend will do that too. Thanks for the comment
