Thank you for explaining what you were doing and why. Nice to see a actual video of the VOR Alpha approach to Brackett. Looks like you had a good flight with Dr. Phillipp as your safety pilot. The Cherokee (16484) that was in the pattern with you is out of Foothill Flying Club at Cable, flown that plane a couple times.

I really enjoyed this video as well as the one from TOA-POC. I love to see more. My request would be CNO-SBA, CNO-BLH, CNO-LAS, CNO-RHV, CNO-MYF just to name a few. I love to see any of those flights. You do a great job explaining the briefing and the procedures.

Great video, if you would have some free time could you do this flight in simulator with the briefing? I understand that real flying is much better than flying and explaining it in sim, but in the real flight there is not much time to explain everything. I would like to see all things you did in the real plane in FSX :)

Hi Gene Your videos inspired me to get my PPL. Now I'm an IFR rated and starting to make videos of my flights. What program do you use to do the animation and editing? Does it support multi camera angles/timeline?
@FSX4049 жыл бұрын
SocalPilot I create mostly everything in Photoshop, and put everything together in Adobe Premier Pro which is a professional editing program. I'm glad you got your PPL, and that I had a little part in it, but you did it yourself and get all the credit. Stay safe, see you in the skies.

Great video - btw. I love the wear and tear on your plane. I bet she's an old lady :) Thanks for sharing.

Jan Winther Sorensen The plane is 51 years old, a 1954 C-182G. The doc who has owned her the last 20 years has maintained the her (mechanically) in top form. Aside from him and one of his friends who doesn't fly any more, the three of us are the only ones who have flown this plane in the last 15 years. I trust it more than any other plane. No crazy renters who abuse it, no missed and questionable maintenance, no rig-it fixes to keep it flying and making money. As far as upholstery, that is a different story, lol.Hopefully that should be fixed in the next year or so.

GVad The Pilot I think you mean 61 years old which is remarkable, but nevertheless, I still think she looks amazing on the inside.

Jan Winther Sorensen sorry it is a 1964 Cessna 182, that 54 was a typo.
