I really like this Ant! Huzzah! The realism of martial arts is what really gets me so I'll be looking forward to watching you discover this.

Why not just join an actual koryu? You will save yourself years of work going into “reconstruction” and have a verifiable lineage to back up whatever speculations you may have.

Please keep up to date with my videos. I have shown Koryu does not have original swordsmanship left

@@AntonyCummins I can appreciate the academic intrigue and your commitment, however have you spoken to any of the soke’s of the systems you have covered? Even someone with menkyō can help to ensure that principles and augmentations taught through kuden are borne in mind. You can only decipher so much from a scroll and we (and any other person who has looked into koryu bujutsu) know, that these schools are living pieces that are incapable of being self taught. I have watched a lot of your content over the years as well as read most of your material. I greatly appreciate the hours that have clearly gone into them but perhaps making claims on behalf of other traditions which have been transmitted over hundreds of years should be approached with a bit more caution?

@@AntonyCummins You haven't shown any such thing. You have made claims to disguise your lack of effort in real endeavors. It's clear through your movement. The lazy fanboys will eat it up, so kudos on that.

Not bad for an old boy sir bravo ❤... i wish i still had my health to continue training.. sword art i think more than any other M.A. needs to be practised daily otherwise you lose touch and aim very quickly. There is more lost to history than we know now in terms of tecniques. Even the best swordsman these days would not have half the arsenal of moves as the old days... old age and treachery will always beat youth and technology but he who practices hard fights hard is ny mantra.

Saw the upload for the 3d sword part video but didnt watch it. The question i kept asking was "why?" That video seems so unnecessary and there are millions of sword parts videos out there. Seems like wasted effort to me. Not trying to be a downer, just sharing my thoughts. Might be some insight as to why its not seeing much activity. Still enjoy a lot of this content, thanks for the video.

Well, done! Well, done! Finally, someone is showing what real kenjutsu looked like during the warring period. But You'd know what be cool though in my view? take these same moves and put them into a free-flowing kata where we can see how one move flows into the other. Thats what I'd like to see. No one has ever done this before! Take a samurai scroll from the old days from the pages of a real ancient scroll/book and put into space! Awesome! A Huge milestone in the history of Samurai kenjutsu. Seems like a good cardio workout too!
