3:20 Lynette's infusion priority, cryo > pyro > hydro > electro, is not the "same as always", as the normal infusion priority is pyro > hydro > electro > cryo. The only other character in the game that give cryo highest infusion priority like Lynette does is anemo traveler

I unlocked her c6, she's an incredibly fun character to play as an on field character, I pair her with c6 faruzan, yelan, and fischl and they work Very well together, it's one of the most fun teams I've played

@@shady_s4980Personally I can't swap her out of using Sacrificial Sword. Its damage may not be amazing, but at R5 you almost always get 3 E-skills in, which seems to trump higher damaging weapons that can only do 2 skills most of the time and as a nice bonus, even without any ER on her artifacts, 3 E-skills from sac. sword refills the ultimate almost completely every time. So you can focus on ATK%/Crit/EM instead of wasting space with ER in there (if you're lucky enough to get artifacts full of damaging stats, of course). I tried several different artifact sets as well but it kind of depends on the team. Viridiscent Venerer is definitely my go-to in teams with other elements, even if she's not just support but played as DPS. However, in a mono anemo team other sets would be better. The new Marechassee Hunter seems really good. Do note that Vourukasha's "taking damage" effect does not work with Lynette syphoning her own HP. That set required her to get hit by external sources. Mixing both anemo damage 2-piece sets was also pretty nice and so was using the charged attack 2-piece. If you use her with faruzan in non-mono-anemo (like with yelan in it for example) then I would probably still pick Viridiscent. I am not a theorycrafter; this was just my personal testing and preference. But I hope it helps. At least the sacrificial sword is a must for me in any scenario. Her E skill can pump out some nice damage, too (I triple crowned her though, your mileage may vary).

Something funny is that, if you're building her Burst Damage, you can also give her the Harbinger of Dawn so her substats can focus on crit rate/damage while still letting you run either triple EM with good crit substats + some ATK% or going for a stereotypical ATK% Sands, Anemo Goblet, and the crit circlet you need more stats for. You're probably gonna have a healer with her anyhow, so switch to them after she bursts, heal her up, and boom. It works.

Lynette is a great example of what I consider to be "the Baruuk principle." This is something I came up with after watching Triburos's video on the warframe Baruuk. Now the thing about Baruuk is even when he came out, he was not a top tier frame. In fact one of the starter frames, Excalibur, is not only an S tier frame but has the exact same sort of role you'd want in a frame. Meanwhile, Baruuk is pretty much a B tier frame. However, his video is mostly concerned with the idea that a frame doesn't have to be better than another frame just to be good. I think as a community we get caught up in tier lists too often and dismisses characters that are functional and good as bad characters you shouldn't use. Characters like Diluc, Yanfei, Noelle, Razor, Thoma, Eula etc are all good characters even if there are characters who are better at their job. Lynette isn't meta defining like Kazuha or Sucrose, but she is a really good unit that you can build and enjoy without too much trouble. And I think that's important and healthy to the game since it gives us more options to play around with.

I'm worried for next month's abyss. With something like the Ousia/Pneuma mechanic, it would be bad if it turns new characters into must-haves for that content. If it's balanced well, hopefully old teams will still be able to clear in time and the Fontaine characters just add some extra safety cushion. But that's a narrow line to walk.

So far all it's done is make enemies less aggressive(barely matters) and remove a tiny shield from the world boss. I don't think it's going to be too big of a deal, just huge exploration convenience

From what we've seen against the world boss it instantly removed an elemental shield w one attack, but just bringing the opposite element works too, just takes a couple more hits. As long as they don't amp it up for abyss it shouldn't matter too much

@@crusaddythis, but at the same time you can clearly notice the Breacher Primus or Gardemek enemies with higher scaling in higher level domains and how convenient the usage of the mechanic is. For example you can easily get burned to ash from former if you play something like national against their dendro phase, and the aggressiveness of the male/female meks is reminiscent of Consecrated Beasts. It’s not required to use Pneumousia, but it helps a lot so far already

I've had so much fun playing her recently I quit Genshin for a long while came back to the game recently and got C2 Lynette amd C0 Yelan within my first 20 pulls of coming back I decided her playstyle was fun since I only have a Tank at WL 7 and no high dps and the abilities were very different and more fun Decides to put her with Yelan, Bennet, Shogun (Lv1 because I quit after getting her) and have been trying to make them strong Turns out that even though the team I'd roughly lv 40 on Yelan, Lynette and 70 shogun and lv 60 Bennett now Their bursts combo very well with taunt and constant reactions and swirls paired with high ER makes even fighting weaker enemies give enough Particles for new bursts the very next fight

I would like to add that if you want to play Lynette as a support for Lyney (not ideal since Lynette is a damage loss over, say, a Xiangling, but hey, they're brother and sister and they're cute together so people will want to make it work), you don't need any EM and you can build her for crit since Lyney wants mono pyro anyway. In that case, I'd probably put a fav weapon on her and another fav on the flex slot (like Zhongli) so Lyney can focus completely on offensive substats.

Oof... so I wasn't crazy when thinking her hold-skill is essentially a waste of time in battle at C0. I'm building her on my no-wishing challenge, where she's running the one free Skyrider Sword an NPC gives you, and so far that seems okay but now I know she probably needs ER sands. I'm also going to build the new pipe-sword from fishing because I'll be choosing Xingqui at the next Lantern Rite and I'm guessing he'll need the Skyrider, unless I like the pipe on him better. I tell you what, building chars is a whole other challenge when removing the gatcha and BP aspect from the game entirely. O.o;;

Lynette is a character that I'd like to build, but cannot due to lack of resource. The thing about ascension is that it's pretty expensive. Both in terms of materials and in-game currency. The only 'built' options I have for Anemo are Venti and Kazuha, so it's not that I'm in *need* of her.
