Too bad you're probably going to stop using them once you get your adventure rank higher. My first 5 star was Wanderer who I used a lot, but by the time I got to inazuma he was stuck at lv 40 while the enemies were lv 70ish. Kinda sucks if you don't wanna rush the story quest/exploration.

im actually quite satisfied with Lynette as a 4 star character! she’s not so niche that she struggles to compete for a team slot, nor is insanely cracked that she’s a must-have on every team! overall, i’d say she’s pretty balanced at c0 and her constellations are evenly spread out to increase her utility and even offer a different play style to try out if you hit c6 - i hope Lynette is indicative of what we can expect for 4 stars going forward 🤞💖

I'm assuming Lynette is meant to serve a similar role as Collei in terms of providing F2P players with a unit that fulfills a key function of the new combat mechanic. Lynette applies Ousia effect while hydro traveler applies pnuema effect. Without Lynette and Hydro traveler, F2P won't have access to this new combat mechanic which could turn out to be very crippling if they lean heavily into it in Spiral Abyss and new bosses. I'm hoping this new mechanic turns out to be a fun one to play but I also hope it doesn't turn out to be a new meta-defining mechanic like Dendro was.

@@Sergmanny46 Not exactly for exploration is amazing next to another anemo i`m with kazuha for double anemo and ousia and pneuma didnt matter much if you have it in team for exploration yes you can stun opposite element from time to time but most of the time they are already dead already so ftp dont need to worry about this mechanic maybe will matter in later abysses later on but to slot hydro mc is most stupid thing you can do ;0 he is absolutely trash most pragmatic thing to do right now is make her lvl 50 to active her passive for AT percent bonus,throw her some fav or sac sword or something with er if you have noblesse its awesome and explore with her ,marking the energy fishes underwater and holding her E on a dry land is already enough to finish fontain

Real shes one of the few anemos that can be built without high em cus her main damage is her skill but if you want support lynette you build em so it is really up to us wether we want on feild dps lynette or off feild support

I really like the C6s that instead of being "that one that makes them actually viable" they effectively unlock a sidegrade alternate playstyle. I don't expect this to be something they do for every new character, but if keep getting these going forward I'd be pleased.

In addition to her weapons list, the Inazuma sword (Amenoma) is also a good option. With high refinement, the weapon's passive helps on her Energy charging.

With Lynette I’ve come the realization that good design means being able to play characters however you like and provide variety. This is in line with the contents of the game being fairly easy in general. Ayaka and kazuha both are stronger than Lynette as DPS and support but since I’m not looking for something better I don’t mind. What is important is that it’s different. So it’s fun to build a character with 2/3 different builds give her the respective weapons from the dedicated characters to the role and have a refreshing experience clearing the game with them. It doesn’t matter much that she won’t outdamage Ayaka’s infusion. All it matter for her to be fun is that unlocking her C6 made it feel good to give her misplitter and pew pew cut cut with a new play style. I’m pretty sure she can do abyss once I farm her talent and ascension mats. Good design = helps players keep having fun. And for me, not being super unique does take away the fact that it helps me watch a cute cat girl do stuff and provide me more options for my lineups 🤘🏻

i dont think i've really seen people talk about how strong lynette's burst taunt actually is. in my lyney + bennett + xiangling team, kazuha would be the stronger pick, but lyney feels so squishy and interruptable. with lynette instead, you still at least have the vv res shred but now with some added defensive utility in her taunt. it's actually really really good and comfy. i also think she's the Only anemo character (aka vv swirler) with this kind of defensive utility in her kit, which is great for role consolidation.

I've got her at c1 with the knights of favonius(forgot their name) blade, and it's pretty busted. Some bosses will attack her ult skill instead of her, and her ult can normally recharge before the countdown is even complete(with only her as anemo on my team). She also can deal amazing damage on bosses and enemies that are much stronger then her.

Take it easy, go one at a time. The longer you play the game the more resources you're gonna get (and if you play too much like me at one point you won't know what to spend your resin on bc everything's built). Just know your priorities: one well built unit is better than 3 half-assed

Honestly if I build her the team I'm most excited to try out is triple anemo quickswap, with Heizou Faruzan (or maybe crit Kazuha and Faruzan) to take advantage of Lynette's relatively low cooldowns + off field anemo damage. Her burst could probably work as sub DPS for Xiao or Wanderer too, but idk, I want to give her E more attention if I use her, it's the most fun part of her kit

I like her kit a lot and think she is a solid unit, but really its only beacause of her element and VV set. When comparing her to other VV supports she falls kinda flat, and compared to other anemo DPS she also falls flat (Heizo being a 4* anemo dps and he does it better then her especially when comparing their C6s) definitely falls into the category of if you like her great shes well rounded but definitely more geared towards begginers (which isnt a bad thing) im hoping future characters help flesh out the hp loss mechanic to help her stand out a bit more

Ngl in your video her damage looks a LOT higher than I expected. I'm impressed. So far for me she absolutely sucks but I gave scraps I had and then came here and her talents are lvl 2 and 3 since I sadly havent had much time to play Fontaine yet. She's adorable (and I'm lowkey obsessed with catgirls) and I have been waiting for ages! Quite satisfied with her! Just a shame its another 4 star anemo girl. Aside from Jean who was in the first version, all new 5 star anemo characters have been dudes and they can do all the cool stuff :/ Was really hoping for Lynette to get interesting anemo stuff to do as a 5 star, but nope... she's fun, but xiao, wanderer, kazuha etc can do more interesting stuff. Her cuteness and elegance more than makes up for it though! At least we got her for free and she's on the Yelan banner. I don't play with dudes so that's a relief. Candace's banners aside from being far apart screwed me both times she ran. What does it matter when her charges share a cooldown? Does that make her double charge different from Yelan's? Sounds like this is how it always works but I may just be getting confused. Her normal attacks look pretty elegant, kind of wish she was mainly played using those. Her E skill made no sense to me until this video, though I had not come across any HP change gear yet like that artifact set. At first I thought why lose HP in the first place? It seems to serve no purpose at all? Just to make her suck more? :P "oh you know what? anemo characters often heal right? Thats boring. right? lets make this one heal... THEN LOSE IT!" "yeah yeah good idea you're brilliant" "but what if HP is full?" "Then she just loses HP" "omg thats PERFECT!" to clarify: i understand now that this was me thinking wrong as I did not know about the new mechanic yet. Though I guess there are some mechanics in play I have not noticed/learned yet? No clue what ousia even is. Since when does Genshin have affiliations? Is it like in Star Rail? Wish they'd implement star rail's QoL, archived events and extra resin instead. EDIT: from what I understand of the Ousia/Pneuma thing it's not something I'm excited about. That part of any new character's kit will be useless in 99% of the game and likely a pain of a requirement in the Abyss before long. First impression of it: definitely not a fan. EDIT2: My new dreamteam is Kittehs. Keqing, Kirara, Diona and Lynette. And Diona's miffed expression on the select screen is perfect, because Keqing is no cat and Kirara has fake ears xD (maybe Lynette too, I haven't found out yet if it's part of the magician costume or real)

Im the type of player who wants her infusion overridden. I love playing infused playstyle and I do plan on playing specifically pyro infused Lynette. Not going to have her at c6 anytime soon anyway. It will finally allow my Keqing to have a break from infusing with non electro for a year and a half and finally let her play aggravate.

Looks like I should probably build her. I have had terrible luck getting anemo 5-stars on my account. I've been playing off and on since day one, and still haven't gotten Jean, Venti, or Kazuha, Xiao, Wanderer, none of them. But I have all the 4 stars, and I'm looking for a new anemo character to build. ATM I only have Sucrose built, (and I use my Anemo traveller if I need a second) and I have been working some on Faruzan, but I'm not thrilled with how she's fitting in with my teams even now that I have her at 80. I'm still a bit on the fence as to whether or not I want to build Lynette or Heizou. I think I want an off-field dps though, so that would make Lynette the better option, right?

Building hydro traveler is super easy. Step 1: Teleport to a Sumeru Archon statue. Step 2: click resonate with Dendro. Step 3: ??? Step 4: Profit.

@@chokeolatte Not really, even though Heizou is a dps himself but if he wants to support, he can use ttds. Lynette only gives 20% atk, though realistically you can't bring 4 elements everytime. There's a good chance you'll bring 2 of the same element in the team so it's like 16% sometimes. Ttds gives 48%. It's a 3* book by the way. I know it sounds like I'm hating on her but I really do like her character, I'm just being realistic. I think she's still a very decent character, like a sidegrade rather than a downgrade.
