Complete MSC Embarkation Guide: Is Yacht Club worth it? Part 1

Here's part 1 covering embarkation on MSC Seascape from the Miami cruise terminal. Hope this helps - also I am new to making KZbin vids so thank you for all the views so far, it's way more than I thought!
So for this one I put in a little more effort- editing all the fillers out, add background music and B-roll.
If you have kids and driving to the port- this video will be helpful whether you are YC or not. BTW, I did not mention this on the video but you are looking at averages around $25/night for parking.
Really appreciate all the MSC staff- these footages are authentic and candid - you can genuinely see how much they care.

Could not agree more, have sailed with MSC in the Yatch club 3 times now, once out of Miami and twice out of Port Canaveral, the embarkation process is absolutely seamless for yatch club guests. I do like the sitting area at Port Canaveral better thought.

Hi, great video - we are Aurea Guests on Seascape out of Miami in May 24. You mention Diamond and Aurea Guests also have access to the priority security line ( we aware about the priority for Check in). Can you give me a little more detail around this. Ie when you go into the terminal C East do you just join the Yacht club security line? Any help would be most welcome

The family went on the Seaside on the yacht club and it was an amazing experience from embarkation to debarkation, in 2023 me and my wife are doing a back to back cruise, first on the Carnival Celebration and then on the Msc Seascape in the yacht club, I’m getting off the Celebration as latest as I can then go Seascape my check in is at 2 but I’ll be there very early maybe first in line. Can’t wait.

sounds great! best thing about YC is you can go check-in anytime. You can go at 9:30 when check in opens - that's what we did, we went off Royal and went on Seascape. I saw celebrity celebration while we were docked in Nassau, that roller coaster looks amazing

we are looking at going on the MSC Seascape in Aug... it's good to know that Yacht club works for families. My kids are 9,9 and 13. It would be our first cruise, and my first vacation since my honeymoon. I figure may as well go big or go home. Are all the Yacht club areas kid friendly than?

Are their programs like wine tasting?? I saw an itinerary that had a vodka tasting. It's so hard to get anyone to post an itinerary. I'm on 4 MSC Facebook pages and still begging. No one likes to think about how to plan your day before you are on the boat...

A really interesting perspective into Yacht Club service culture. MSC is having success in the states bringing that European feel that's prevalent and present in its fleet for us over here, to you guys over there. Really liked your video. A lot of valuable information from your insight 👍

Went on MSC in December. Went on Merglivia. Yaght club was aweful! I had been on 8 other MSC sailings in Yaght club. Bag drop off was not manned. Had to go dragging my luggage to the holding area, They barely had any staff very little to drink no snacks. If that was my first time sailing on MSC. It would have been my last. Booked on seaside in May. Hope it will be better!

Great video. How dies specialty dining work if you have yacht club? Is that extra? How do you book it?

With YC you get 30% off for specialty dining and you would have to book in advance like usual.

Have a question for you all. How was the thermal suite? If you know how does it compare to NCL or Celebrity? We thought NCL was awesome with its large hydrotherapy pool! We were very disappointed with celebrity because they didn't even have a hot tub in the thermal area.

Hey Glenn! We tried the thermal spa on Norwegien Epic and know EXACTLY what you're talking about. We haven't experienced anything like it since then but this one comes at a very close second. There isnt a huge pool but there's a pretty sizeable whirlpool tub - nothing like the size of norwegien tho. variuous steam rooms with lights, 2 saunas, several shower areas that does mist and different types of showers with fragrance, salt room, there is a snow room with actual snow, several heated loungers etc. Definitely a great thermal spa, just not the best if you've done norwegien
