@@tewgunss It took me two weeks to get orion after I unlocked most of my platinum challenges. Go for it, you don't have much to lose except for your sanity 💀

@@tewgunss I hardly ever used xp tokens to level up my weapons. The fastest way to level up would be the grind mode on shipment or dmz. If you don't have time, it's not worth it to put in all that effort

I unlocked Orion for every other gun besides rocket launchers and snipers but now I want to get my snipers Orion but I can only get two of them poly and it keeps saying get platinum challenge done is that a glitch or I have to do that

Shoot house is amazing for every weapon for longshots if you just jump on the half wall in mid but they took it out of the 24-7 playlists rn unfortunately

It’s nice a newer camo grind video. I really wish I got my long shots earlier. Hardcore dom is almost unplayable right now every lobby literally everyone is just going for longshots except that 1 guy whose playing way to sweaty for hardcore lol

longshots are literally the worst man. i shouldn’t have saved them for last. i still have 13 guns to get platinum for, 9 of which are smg’s. i got every gun gold back in december and then stopped playing until recently because the longshots just killed all my motivation to keep grinding

I've been doing the platinum challenge for a while to get Polyatomic, I have 45 platinum in total, but when I go to polyatomic it tells me that I only have 44. What should I do?

Question for poly atomic is it 51 regular platinum camos or we have to follow the amount of weapons requirements in each class of weapons.

If you've done the platinum for that weapon then you'll be able to do polyatomic! Dont need to do the whole class. Platinum is the only one that requires a certain number of guns for the weapon class

Yep! Any new weapons they add each season you can just do them as part of the 51 instead of launchers

Battle rifles I put on the mastery key underbarrel shotgun and set them up for hip fire. In shipment it was really easy, I know thats cheesy but it was a fun way to do it.

Bro I have all my guns gold and shoulda been had the platinum and other colors!!! I can’t seem to have my long shots register and I get plenty of them! It says 7/8 camo completed Get 25 long shots Which I did But it doesn’t count EVER!!!! Why is that?!?!?

The reason it only worked for some is if you skip some of the base game weapons and do platinum, the weapons you skipped that were ALREADY IN THE GAME B4 SEASON 1 can progress poly

Currently working on my orion grind now, and it seems like a couple of the gun camo challengers are not tracking. I finished platinum on five pistols and only shows four completed, along with an ADS challenge for one of the shotguns not tracking. Question, do DLC weapons count towards orion? In theory, could I skip launchers or is that one not too bad on shipment?

Same problem, I got platinum on my pistols a while back but I just got it on the automatic deagle and it doesn’t count towards polyotomic, is that a glitch cause all the other dlc weapons work to the best of my knowledge

@@AK-cw7ei I just finished with my pistols and moved on. I have finished platinum on my pistols, knives, LMGs, battle rifles, snipers, and now working on my marksman rifles. Leaving the SMGs and ARs last since I feel like those will be the easiest. Should be fairly easy getting headshots on the next round using shipment. Will definitely take time but should not be too bad.

I didn't use to try headshots because I was afraid of missing shots and getting killed and I made 25 in a game the other day. Now I always go for headshots xD

I just completed all weapons platinum. (Really ALL weapons platinum and I'm going to get Polyatomic for all as well.) Hardest ones were marksman rifles in Hardcore and slowest but most fun was snipers in ground war... I expected to be happier than I am now having all guns on platinum and I have to get 25 headshots with everything now. I write this because I have a question for Orion camo grinders... I know a few people already completed the grand mastery camo and that's cool but am I the only one who feels a bit disappointed that mw3 is around the corner and your progress in mw2 will be a bit underwhelming because it almost feels wasted because mw3 is practically mw2.5 so either you buy every new cod from infinity ward and invest your time into it... Or you can play a game that's longer lasting such as cs2.0 so I am asking you Orion camo guys, are you going to buy mw3 in november or can you not do another grind like this anymore or are you disappointed in the game? Cause for me cs2.0 is around the corner too and there will be a new operation so I'd rather play cs2.0 which lasts for the next 20 years and I don't have to buy a new game every year as it is with cod... Like what's even the point of playing cod when every year your progress is 0% again. In cs2.0 at least you get coins and items and the game literally lasts for your lifetime and we all know it. I could also play guild wars 2 or everquest project 1999 which are all fun games that last for a lifetime and thus are more worthy of our time. I just want to know do Orion grinders feel like this too or are there actually people who got Orion or Platinum at least for every single gun and still want to buy cod every year and continue the grind? It's very exhausting to be honest... I mean the grind was ez on shipment but some platinum guns and platinum snipers on ground war and generally longshots in hardcore dom was pretty damn stressful. I think I'd rather play cs2.0 than mw3. Why buy mw3 when mw4 is in 2024 november? lol

Is the Orion grind even worth it in the end? In 10 years what will you have for getting Polyatomic unlocked on every gun? Will mw2 still be relevant in 10 years? Because cs2.0 will probably be relevant in 30 years. That's why I consider not playing cod anymore and just playing cs2.0 as my fps game.

Yeah if you do other weapons you can skip the launchers and melee. You only need 51 and there's over 60 weapons total now

Guys! For smgs i didn't have to do longshots once i got 51 platinums. It let me get the headshots on all my smgs and they are now all polyatomic without plat unlocked. Perfect if you're like me AND hate doing smg longshots.

I know you can skip plat camo chalk and go straight to polyatomic challenge once you have the required number of plat guns but when I try to skip plat camo and just do the polyatomic challenge on some guns like my M13 it doesn’t count and says I need to unlock gold and plat

I’m confused 😐 and late for this. So you literally don’t have to do any challenge to unlock orion camo. You just do headshot and that’s it? If it is then oml I’m about to finish the camo grind and gonna delete this garbage cod off from my ps5 bc I literally lost too much brain cells 🥲

No you still need to do gold, Platinum and Polyatomic but to get Orion. Some guns will let you skip Gold and Platinum to get Polyatomic, but Orion will stay locked unless you do all of them

Pro tip for the launchers: go into shipment and just run and smash with your weapon. Bashing a enemy with the launcher also counts as kill and because the launcher is so slow in firing a missle you’re better off bashing peoples head in which is fairly easy in shipment
