!! Milky Way you can! I cancelled skillshare just a few days ago with the charge happening only 24-48 hours later. It said I would still have access to the premium stuff until the end of the 2 months, so I think you can cancel the subscription almost immediately and still use the full 2 months

There's also an extension for google chrome that allows you to divide keep by the color of each note. When you click in the color tab, all of your notes with that color appear there. I think this is very useful.

I’ve recently just discovered this Google services lately, and my life instantly became organized! After many months of struggling to find the best planner that will work for me, paper planner isn’t really for me. I need a planner, organizer that I can access across all my gadgets (phone, iPad and laptop). Google apps are my life saver. I am never lost now. Gmail, drive, keep notes, Google sheets for my budget, docs are my most go-to apps. May it be for work, home, personal, life organization in general, I’ve finally found my planner peace and I found it online with Google apps. Thank you, Mariana for more tips!
@rebeccaw96566 жыл бұрын
Yes!! I too do all of this, and as long as I have my phone, I can access everything. I also want to add, you can go completely paperless by scanning documents on your phone and save it on your Drive of choice along with the documents you create. For Android, use Google Drive for their in-built scanner. For IOS, use the inbuilt scanner on IOS “Notes” to then save to your Google Drive or Drive of choice.

Sometimes colleges give premium Google accounts to their students, but most don't know about it...My university bought some Google based student system back in 2011, but students didn't actually use it until 2016, before that most students ignored its existence. Now we mostly do everything on Google, calendars, tasks assigned to each student, homework, group projects and professors check our work there. It's a little weird, but after a time using it, it's like our default way of working

I like the simplicity and elegance of your videos. You don't have pinkish colors everywhere and it is great! I am an 18 yo man who likes clean-looking notebooks and to-do systems. I've found dozens of that kind of channels, but they are too feminine. Your channel is my absolute favorite :)
@yeahgirl116 жыл бұрын
I've noticed that too. What's up with that? Why aren't there more dudes who make these kind of videos? Those channels are too feminine for me as well, and it's hard finding a channel like Mariana's!

honestly, i came across google keep during quarantine last year and even as a note app, I've loved using it. not even using the colour coding, remainders, and others. it's been so useful for my needs as a student only with the labels.

@RayneBlue Жыл бұрын
Thanks for this. One thing I used in Keep to add to it's functionality is to have color-coding and labels never be the same. For example, a note may be YELLOW (for personal) but I would not have a personal label, bc I already know it's a "personal" note bc it's yellow. That has opened up many more opportunities for me to utilize Keep bc I can then either search by color or I can search by label. But again, thank you for this video!!

I just wanted to say quickly I've been following you for 1,5 years now and your videos absolutely never disappoint Yesterday you posted that video about notion, which I tested out today with my lectures For someone who often takes digital lecture notes like that in bullet points, it really works so, so good The whole drag and drop concept of that program made the note taking process really quick and intuitive and I was able to take much more out of the lecture while taking notes from my laptop than I did before (making connections for myself by adding extra bullets and structuring my notes in a specific way) So thank you so much for your wonderful content!!!❤️🙌

You can now join my Patreon to get exclusive content: www.patreon.com/marianastudycorner I was struggling last year to find a platform that allows me to share content/things without forcing me to permanently use a video/picture format. Instagram tied me down to "pretty pictures", KZbin ties me down to "complex videos" and blogging/websites were way too high maintenance. That's why I decided to create a one-tier Patreon for different/bonus content. If you like my work and want to support it, you can become a patron for 1$ to get exclusive content. Inside Patreon, there will be no tiers, no hierarchies and no privileges. By becoming a Patron, you will gain access to: - Early access to all videos published on KZbin; - Access to monthly video schedules; - We get to talk about organisation, studying and productivity; - Scripts to all videos published from now on (it already includes the whole 2020 back-to-school season); - Exclusive updates and posts; - Books, apps & resource recommendations; - Study-with-me, exclusive, real-time videos; - Other exclusive bonus content (like Q&As and AMAs); - Access to polls; - Printables & resources for download. And you'll join a wonderful study community! And for all of those who can't join - thank you for supporting this community through KZbin! It means a lot to me. Despite the new "layer of engagement" that a platform like Patreon will provide, I'll be equally active on KZbin, as always, and answering your comments as best as possible. Happy studying, Mariana

I've been using Google Keep on and off for just over a year and i really like it. I keep the things that I access more frequently there, as opposed to my evernote, which currently contains class notes, research, and clips from the web. Though simplicity can be a bummer if you don't get the more advanced functions you need, as a notetaking app the minimalist design was very refreshing for me in terms of getting me to actually do the things on my lists. I'm curious: why do you prefer not to use the checkbox function in your google keep lists, such as the one with the books to read? Great content :)
@TwistedFoolPT6 жыл бұрын
It's an interesting question. I can't answer for Mariana but I also tend not use the checkbox, especially if the list I'm creating is something I'm keeping for reference. For example, I keep a list of movies I watched and want to watch. I don't use the checkbox here because if I did (and I checked the box after watching a movie), the item would be moved down and out of my sight. Of course I could not check it, but that would not keep track of what I have already watched. Does it make sense? On the other hand, when using a grocery list in Google Keep I always use the checkbox. As I check each box the item disappears from the list and in this case, that is fine. I hope that helps! At least for me that's the reason why.
@NataliaNNS6 жыл бұрын
@@TwistedFoolPT yeah, what you're saying makes sense! I guess that in my mind it's just clearer when I can only see what is "pending" without the clutter of the things that were already accomplished, if that makes sense. However, I've been experimenting with adding the check emoji on lists where I want to be able to see what was completed or not - so far I'm enjoying the visuals. Thanks for your answer!
