Even tho this isn’t accurate it’s still pretty satisfying because it’s not hard to believe there are ppl who commit murders and care nothing about the lives they take but when it’s their life’s it scares the ever loving crap out of them

Maybe during the process he was quiet and not wimpering but his face was pale and the bravado and arrogance was gone according to the guards and reporters that were there. I've definitely read comments from Ted Bundy fans? I guess you can call them? That "oh... he's a psychopath that didn't feel fear" (wow.. so he really was a badass). No.. he would never fight a man one on one and he preyed on women who were weaker. He was a coward and a pansy who even lost a few potential victims because they put up more of a fight than he could handle. He wasn't stoic.. his ass was terrified of dying and in the end he still felt he was so important that sparing him would be beneficial. They should have had him sit and cry for a few days. While this execution method is by far the quickest, it is one of the most painful. Basically imagine being drowned in ice water on dry land and crushed by an invisible hydraulic press all the while trying to scream in fear and agony and not being able to open your mouth or produce any sound. Bundy may have had a brain incapable of expressing sympathy or remorse, but he recognised abject terror of his own impending death (whether he acknowledged it when he saw it in the eyes of his victims we'll never know) but it sure wiped that smirk off his face real fast.

That’s a fancy way of using your imagination: what an actual electrocution feels like… I image the mind goes unconscious almost immediately, which means death. It’s a high intensity volt that burns the body from the inside out thoroughly, of which the mind cannot be conscious of for more than a few moments. The mind would go unconscious faster than the body would die, which would take a few moments more. No one knows what death feels like until it happens. If reality is a dream, which I think it is, it’s likely that the mind goes unconscious from the human perspective and rejoins Source BEFORE the body dies. When people die of natural causes, the body shuts down in phases, and usually the mind goes unconscious first. I have always wondered if violent deaths are painless. It sucks that none of us knows for sure, but I do think that very high intensity trauma to the body that is sudden puts the mind unconscious immediately. With intense pain the mind just can’t process it. It goes into shock and blocks it out. That’s how I see death, and hopefully I am highly accurate.

The whole depiction is ridiculously stupid fantasy. They don’t stick Vaseline soaked cotton balls in your ass. They make you wear a rubber diaper because you’re being electrocuted. Shave the head and the leg for the electrodes. They soak a sponge in a chemical, it’s not just saline as other people talk about, but the wet sponge is placed between the electrodes and shaved skin for the best conductivity. I can’t remember what it is but it’s specifically for that reason. At least in Florida, the condemned doesn’t see the Executioner. Furthermore, Executioners for the Florida DOC (at least in the 1980s) were not prison guards or any other prison staff. Believe it or not, they put an ad in the paper and the candidate is screened and if accepted for the one time job, they are given a date, time and address where they meet an unmarked prison van and the van takes them from where their vehicle is parked, usually a shopping mall, to the prison. They exit the van with a hood on for anonymity and the Master Electrician for DOC explains the switch to them and that’s it. They receive a check from DOC and are transported back to their vehicle. There was a journalist at Bundy’s Execution who believed that the Executioner was a woman. Hopefully so. Ted Bundy was a land shark. He is an anomaly. Very intelligent, the epitome of the ruthless, narcissistic sociopath. The world is better off without him but when they fabricate stupid rage material like this movie, they diminish the seriousness of it.

At 4:30 minutes is when the story really gets juicy and heats up. The tale is no longer just about a serial killer, it’s also about Wesley’s deep desire to make Uncle Bob accept and love him (as seen in the spinoff “the Adventures of Wesley and Uncle Bob”). Amazingly, Ted is cringing but watching one of the most amazing prison duos work out an issue that had plagued their relationship for some 3 odd months. Wesley is stirring the vaseline, and then interestingly pauses, looks up at his loving uncle and asks him “is this okay Uncle Bob?” Make no mistake, Wesley is asking more than just whether he was using enough butt stuffing, he was asking for validation - something that we can only imagine moved Ted to emotional tears as we see in the video. At almost 6:00 minutes exactly, Uncle Bob is consoling Ted, and Wesley asks him a second time “is this okay Uncle Bob?” The question, while answered by Uncle Bob is rhetorical in nature - one that Ted could have opined on and the viewer also can discuss with others. A true tour-de-force!

Whelette Collins who was a beautiful friend of mine in High school during the seventies. She was at her North Carolina Wesleyan College basketball game . After the game she walked out to the parking lot with two of her friends who were also cheerleaders.Apparently there was no lighting in the back corner of the lot where they parked. All three were abducted by Kermit Smith who forced Whelettes two friends in the back trunk. He put Whelette on the floor in the back of the car. Kermit drove to an old abandoned quarry. Forced Whelette out of the car. After raping Whelette she was forced to sit in snow during sub freezing temperature for over an hour. She was crying to this animal telling him please!!! I need to put my clothes back on,I am freezing! This creep told her,I can put you out of you misery instead! After which he did. He pick up a huge rock crushing her skull! What’s sickening is although this animal was sentenced to death. His death sentence was to be injected and slowly go to sleep. Of course he was given a sedative so he could pass away in a happier mood! He was terrified to be put to death! His last words were (This is wrong! It’s barbaric!)First of all this guy should have felt the same pain he put this young 20 year old cheerleader through! If anything instead of an injection he should have felt 60,000 volts of electricity going through him! This would be a deterrent for others to not do what he committed! Instead he got a cocktail to relax himself so he could be injected and go to sleep! How in the hell can this be a deterrent for the next killer out there? I think these murderers should feel the exact same pain they put their victims through! Whelette had a mother,a younger brother and sister who went through pure hell after learning Whellet was murdered. I think about Whelette often and wish I could have been there to help her. She will always be in everyone’s prayers and thoughts!

I still think of her as well. My Daddy was one of the jurors. Even though he was a tough vet who survived Hurtgen Forest, he had a hard time with this. Consequently, I was never allowed to go anywhere alone or without my brothers. I even had to stay with my older one at college. We lived in a small nearby town where everyone knew everyone for generations. I was in my mid 20's before I was no longer escorted everywhere.

Lawrence Russell Brewer was the most infamous example. He ordered a huge feast and when it came he refused a single bite, claiming he wasn't hungry. That put an end to the death row inmates in Texas choosing what they wanted and instead get the same food as everyone else.

How do you know? They totally misrepresented the 'witnesses' and the so called execution scene where the beautiful model supposedly playing the executioner and after it's over her removing her mask only to reveal and shake her gorgeous long hair..I actuallyt hought for a moment I was watching a TV commercial 🤔😳 absolute and utter bullshit which spoilt and made light of the long end scene which up to that point had been a incredibly tense and thought provoking moment from Bundy's guard's entering his cell and telling the condemned what they were going to do re preparing him for the electric chair right through to the leading and placing bundy in the chair to the end . Still an interesting and challenging production which I found interesting and enjoyable ( is that allowed?)

There is actually a spin-off prequel called, “Wesley and Uncle Bob” where it details Wesley’s tutelage by Uncle Bob and how they became the “butt whisperers” in these situations. The only thing that really is sad, but true - is that Wesley never was as sure as his uncle and always relied on Uncle Bob to tell him if in fact he had scraped up enough Vaseline. Uncle Bob never got over this and the prequel really delves into this interesting dichotomy.

Well he didn’t really….he died quickly. Was in no way emotional and even joked before his execution. The being stuffed with cotton wool is made up (that would be a violation of human rights btw) and simply never happened. The chair kills you instantly. It’s a joke of a movie not depicting what happened at all. Simply made up. Only factual thing is he died in the chair.

I watched this movie for the first time on KZbin here and I thought it was an interesting movie. When this scene came up, I laughed like crazy when the guard tells Ted about the cotton that stuffs up his butt. "That's to stuff your butt." XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD Also, the way Ted was squirming was funny as the guard's nephew stuffed his butt. XD On a side note, props to the acting, production, make-up, etc. teams on this movie. Really good work. Michael Reilly Burke actually looked like Bundy and he knew how to do the charm, you know? Also, Tom Savini as the Utah Detective and make-up guy? Awesome! First the "...Of the Dead" series. Now, this? Tom is talented with make-up and can act well.
