Download CRU 1.4.2 or 1.4.1 to have the same settings as me. If you download 1.5, LCD Reduced is Exact Reduced, LCD Native is Native PC. Once you feel comfortable with black screening yourself and fixing it, feel free to try all the new options like "Exact" and the new CRT's.

nooooooooo way i was watching that kid Jerian and trying to make a stretch resolution via CRU but didn't worked for me, i saw your link on his description for the first time i tried it helped me, the resolution i made is 1720x1080 and i don't get black bars thank youuuuuu so much i really appreciate it, btw my problem before was after all what i made following Jerian at the option "List all Modes" my creating resolution with CRU doesn't showed there but i see he was wrong, thank you again man i love it

IF YOURE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH PLUGGING YOUR SECOND MONITOR ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PLUG IT IN AFTER YOU GET CRU WORKING, IT WILL GO BACK TO NATIVE, JUST OPEN DISPLAY SETTINGS AND CHANGE IT BACK WHILE SECOND MONITOR IS IN, YOU WILL HAVE STRETCH RES WITH YOUR SECOND MONITOR PLUGGED IN

I figured I would comment on the black screen situation. If u r using a display port cable, unplu it from ur pc and plug in an HDMI cable then go into cru once u r booted up and reset all, hopefully this helps :)

For laptop users: Step 1: go to safe mode (use power button and turn on and off 3 times) on the third try you will see please wait and it will go safe mode. Step 2: go to troubleshoot then advanced options and click on startup settings then click restart. Step 3: click 5 (*safe mode with networking*) to go to safe mode. Step 4: after it turns on in safe mode go to windows file explorer and go to cru then just click reset all (dont click anything else) Step 5: close file explorer (or it wont work) then restart and you're gonna be back to normal

This video finally got my edit delay gone for anyone that is having a problem with edits not editing right away even with low input delay and good FPS focus on uninstalling the pnp monitor or whatever fixed my whole problem while applying the stretched res! Thank you huncho I say I watched all your stretched res videos at least 50 times over trying to figure out what I was doing wrong because I did it right before n it felt amazing and once you download a new driver or update something you lose the res and totally didn’t what I fully did in your video to get it feeling so fast again until now 😈❤️

Turn of your PC then start it and after 2 second when press the open button press again and turn of the PC. After this steps you can open your PC. Automatic reapir mode will open

I would just like to comment for all the laptop users out there who dont know how to fix the problem heres how i did it so basically j You just need a monitor and connect it to your laptop, then it should display you can then just go and run the reset all application and restart your laptop it should be fixed

Why do you have to “Override the scaling scaling mode set by games and programs” for display? That was fixed in the recent Windows 10 update.

hi guys, first of all ty for this tutorial i saw it helped a lot of ppl so congrats on that. First of all i play on a 1440p monitor @165hz ( aorus fi27q ) but in my games , i play 1728x1080 , i heard of this software not long ago , and wanted to give it a try , so my issue here is , whenever i do the first few steps to get the custom resolution i want in the ' list all modes ' it simply doesn't show up , i'm blocked here if somebody can come up with a solution/fix for me it'll be much appreciated.

Damn, followed every step and tried everything short of using an hdmi cable, as I just got a new dp so I can use g sync, and I’d like to actually be able to use g sync. I have a weird problem at certain games. When I set the res in the game, it will show me the correct res and it seem to be fine. But in my monitor menu, it shows my native factory resolution and only 120HZ out of 144HZ. Even tho the game shows me I have set my costume res. And it gets weirder... read carefully: If I select a game given res that's lower then the res I created, the monitor menu shows me the costume res and correct HZ I made. So for example I created 1750 x 1080 144hz in CRU with "Exact" Timing, in the desktop/windows and in the monitors menu it shows me the correct Resolution I made. So far so good... Then I go in the game and select my costume res. But it shows me in the monitor menu: 1920 x 1080 120Hz instead of 1750 x 1080 144hz! But it looks like 1750x1080 in the game, but I can feel the refresh rate is different, so the monitor isn't "lying". Then I select a game given res 1600 x 900p, just for science... after this the monitor shows me its set to the res I created, so: 1750x1080 144hz!!! This only happens in certain games, and maybe you have a solution for me? I did try other res, but they had thr exact same problem. Maybe it's a timing issue? Btw, in nvidia Controle panel, there is the default option under: Ultra HD, HD, SD and its 1080p 120hz. And under PC it's 1080p 144hz. Maybe something is currupting here with the controle panel? I did set off GPU scaling and checked Fullscreen scaling in control panel. I also did remove all costume resolutions I made in nvidia controle panel before I found CRU. So that's not the problem.

My monitor: AOC 24g2u, 1920x1080, 144hz, 1gtg, Freesync/Gsync compatible (I have freesync completely disabled in the monitor) GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 Asus Strix OC 4gb (Maxwell Second Generation) Display scaling and the costume res is working properly for: PUBG, BF5, EFT It's not working for: Apex Legends

Yes I did! And it even works now for every game! Just watch this video from "Huncho Gorr" its called: "How To Fix Monitor Display Scaling Black Bars (Fortnite) | CRU | *NO INPUT DELAY* "God Resolution". ITs for fortnite, but works in generel. Just follow his guide step by step until the end.
