Great video! Don't forget that you can also add and use as many content type slides as you want in the presentation free version. You can upload lecture material as images, bullet points for agenda, text and even videos from youtube! You don't even need any other presentation tool because Mentimeter includes everything with so much more possibility! Thank you so much!

Thanks for these videos. So far I've watched your tutorials on Kahoot, Wordwall, Quizzizz, Socrative, and now Mentimeter. I'm looking for ideas to create active learning for mature adult learner who would use a handheld device, in person with a powerpoint lecture with an instructor. So, I'm at a "share the link" quandary. Using the qr code seems out of the question, unless the instructor were to print them out in advance. I'm not sure sharing the link as typed in the powerpoint would be a good idea. Perhaps email the link in advance would be best? How would you do this? Thanks for your help and the tutorials.
@ttvRussell Жыл бұрын
You could add the links into the PPT. That would work. Tools like Quizizz and Mentimeter do allow you to include slides but you would need a paid account.

Can you download the answers from the questions for use in other areas? For example, when doing workshops and soliciting feedback or word webs, this is beneficial for reporting or collecting participant qualitative data. Appreciate the help!

Thank you so much for this great tutorial. It is going to help me a lot. I have a question. I can use camtasia but how did you do to have that image moving on your background? That makes a presentation video interesting. Thank you.

hi Russell, I want to do the following: put two buttons on the slide YES/NO - when people click on NO, a text box would pop up for them, to type an answer. Do you think it is possible?
@ttvRussell2 жыл бұрын
I am trying to think if I know a tool that can do that...possible it can be done in kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6rNkqSGjrGCh7c

speaking engagement is sth we are lacking in the EFL remote lessons cause students tend to disappear etc. classic problem so maybe you have even more ideas on that?

Look into Padlet. It is great if you want students to record themselves speaking. www.teachertrainingvideos.com/padlet_complete_training

great one Russell. But could not see the time setting button.
@ttvRussell3 жыл бұрын
Sheba, I am not sure if it has one. I think it is on the settings when you present the information, roll down to the bottom and i think the timer can be turned on there.

When sharing the link with the students, do you also give the code?
@ttvRussell3 жыл бұрын
No, if the students are online they just need the link they only need the code if they access via their phones.

David, I don't know. I don't use it inside a VLE but surely if you share the link the students can access. Are you talking about the embed code?
@smrtzttspanishenglishtutor67 Жыл бұрын

Yes, you can share the link , embed or even add in the QR code.

You must be doing something wrong. Watch the video again. Did you present the results, did you share the link for the students to add their words? I use it all the time and it is fantastic. I am sorry it didn't work for you.
