I like to tighten all the bolts to 20 pounds and then do them all to the recommended torque. The gasket can be re-used several times.

Yes the transmission gasket is solid, I saved the original one, in any case of emergency can be reused.

Your tranny will last a long time if you change the fluid regularly. It shifts better too.

How does the AMSOIL fluid perform vs the Mobil 1 fluid

@@MrColeman631 there is noticeable difference in how engine runs especially after adding ceratec. I have nothing good or bad to say about Mobil 1 it’s whatever oil it just like anything else out there. I did however have to change my MB GL350’s engine and prior to that it had multiple issues with DPF I suspected due to Mobil 1. After new engine install I switched to Liqui Moly at first and then on to Amsoil there has been zero issues with DPF filter getting clogged with soot

The ultra low viscosity gear oil is a pure scam we need thicker oil not thinner but these companies love their money making products
