These are a great value - simple to set up, and work well with Alexa. I already own 7 of them - some of them for voice control (e.g., Alexa, turn on the Christmas tree), and some to replace older mechanical timers because the sound in a quiet room bugged me. One important note - you should not use these for something that uses a lot of power - these are not suitable for a space heater or air conditioner.

I replaced an old dimmer with this dimmer from gosund and it worked perfectly. However, in the installation of the house there is another manual switch (without dimmer) that slides the same light, that is, two switches turn the lamps on and off. That way when I installed the new dimmer, when trying to turn off the lamp on the old switch (which does not have the dimmer function) it does not turn off. That way if I want to completely turn off the lamp with the new dimmer (gosund) I need to make sure that the old switch is in the off position, otherwise, the lamp will always stay on because gosund's electronic switch keeps it on. I'm in doubt about what to do, if I disable this other old switch or if I try to put a new dimmer (but I don't know how they would work together) or if I put a 3-way switch in place of this old one ..

I installed this switch on some dimmable led ceiling lights. The lowest position on the switch seems like the bulbs brightness are still too bright and only about 50% dimmed. Is there any type of low end trimmer adjustment, like on some non smart dimmer switches? Or could I series another dimmer switch inline to be able to adjust for very a dim light, and still use the smart connectivity from the Gosund switch? Any ideas? Thanks

I installed this the way you said for my outdoor lights. It works but the lights aren't as bright as they were with the old switch. Any help why?? Thanks.

I don't know if you are still monitoring this, but during his tutorial I noticed there was a dimmer feature for the switch. You might have accidentally dimmed it and if you are using the Alexa app and not the Gosund app you might not see a dimming capabilty. So open your Gosund app and see if the dimmer has been activated. Good luck!

Can’t get Alexa to respond to change the brightness. I have enabled the skill and can turn the light on and off but not adjust the brightness

The video was for installing the dimmer switch, but the fellow didn't address dimmer functions using either Gosund or Alexa apps.

DON'T BUY THIS DIMMER SWITCH. It doesn't dim past about 40% of brightness.

Yup I’m having the same exact issue. I had Leviton with HomeKit previously and it worked perfectly at 1% but Gosund are way more affordable. Did you ever find a reliable dimmer switch without Flickering?
