I've been avoiding the showcases, guides, and posts online about her since my anticipation for her is crazy. It got to the point that I spent the last of my stars for the 50/50 only to lose and got Mengzhang which was very disappointing. This got me loathing at him for beating Ying Zhao. Even his behavior in the new chapter ticked me the heck off xD Ofc it's still early and I haven't started partaking in the event, so I don't even have to lose hope. Incidentally, I had the same situation on luliang's banner and got Anubis. But that time I was actually cool with it since I was still good on stars. Then I managed to get luliang at least 3 pulls after the loss plus it got me to experience the type of generousity of this pity system for the first time. So I started finishing the dailies, weeklies, the new chapter, challenges and the events for the sake of earning stars. Finally, I got her on the second pull. With this, my Tian Titans have assembled and I can finally rest easy :)

I feel like blue code is easier to use since you can follow same rotation instead of yellow code in which you have options to use skills in both modes which would get confusing. like when using blue code i would just go BAs and enhanced skills 1 and 3 and repeat those without worrying about derivatives then spam enhanced skill2 in buff mode. To me its easier to control and keep track of than yellow cose which is more flexible and thus gets confusing.

Thanks for the guide. What's your opinion on 2 Blue 1 Yellow? It's recommended on the CN investment tier list and it does seem like fun, especially if you don't like spamming Skill 2. It's such a shame that the Dodge effect attack that you get between Aether Code playstyles are different. The one you get from Blue Code is so much better and can be triggered frequently compared to Yellow Code's pathetic single target attack that can only be used after 3 derivatives.

That code is also not bad if you don't want the playstlye of spamming skill 2 as you can get into buff state pretty quickly. But I didn't test the damage output of mixed code so not sure about the changes of total damage output 🥲

I have a question concerning her sigils. What if I don’t have the Barren Flower set? What can be a good substitute? I was shocked to see I can’t farm the Barren Flower sigils and that I need to buy from the limited time event store. But I don’t have enough of the use flower thingies

Maybe use Gale Sovereign for now and farm Barren Flower later. They will allow you to farm all the limited sigil in later version.

I'm into brawl kind of character and Ying Zhao is perfectly fill the spot. Unfortunately i feel something is missing whenever i main her and that is combo skillplay. No wonder her playstyles is complicated X'D

I just pulled her yesterday on a 50/50. I already built the osiris/thor/luliang team. With mono content coming, will it be worth building her for a yingzhao/luliang/s osiros team or is Yingzhao just never going to be used? Thanks!

Yingzhao/luliang/ling guang team can be used. Osiris usually don't use with Yingzhao 😭

@@playsome929 yeah but then you are removing luliang from Osiris team. I was meaning more whether she is useful with another team or using as a stronger mono wind team. Plus it means taking Lingguang away from Jinwu team. It sounds like you are saying there isn’t really a use to her unfortunately

@@MrNathan1575 It's always depend on situation. In later version, you need 2 elements team in one contents and if the elements is not a fire, you will not use Jinwu then Ling guang can be used freely in other team. Yingzhao/lu liang/geng chen team also used. S Yingzhao is not that strong alone.

I appreciate the play tips though, but I’m mainly looking for how to build her, basically If I should go with the recommendations. oh well I can always get her different sigils later if I have to. I think she might have a sweet spot in her build, I’m going to put some though5 into this I like her a lot.

As in video, mostly used Barren Flower for 1,3,5 and Acheron's Obol for 2,4,6. 👍

Whose sig should i prioritize first if i have both Yingzhao and Luliang?

Yingzhao is more sig-dependent but Luliang being a support can benefit other wind teams as well. IMO only go for Ying's sig if you really enjoy using her, otherwise go for Luliang's or save for future mods.

Yes I agree with the above comment. Luliang sig can benefit other wind teams so more useful in general. Use gen zone 5 star functor for Yingzhao first and pull sig when you want to build her further 👍

I still don't really understand how her dodge actually works because the codes seems like changed your preference between normal dodge and directional dodge. I agree on the last point though. I can't focus playing her properly because of this.

I think only skill 2 in blue code will be affected but that's not important when you play her. My focus is on somewhere else....🤣

I think you can get it from current event too. Usually you can choose the sigils you want to farm on weekend.
