I fit that point of being able to do max intensity steady state cardio but still have trouble with things like sprinting or resistance/HIIT training. I also know after lots of concussion rehab that my only remaining issue is whiplash. Im almost better but still struggle with things that are very stimulating like IMAX movies or concerts, and I’m wondering if it’s possible that by practicing the sprinting/weights, I’ll be able to handle concerts and movies better as well. And I was also wondering if the brain fog and extreme fatigue I feel the day after these events could solely be because of my neck, which I know is injured

Yes neck can be the cause of this!

Was I exercising too much? I done 30 mins walking 4 times throughout the day felt fine but the next day I was lightheaded and dizzy when I got out of bed. am I only supposed to do 30 mins once a day??. I think I surpassed my threshold and I wasn’t doing steady state cardio. I would walk fast get my heart beat up then I would rest to get my heart beat low then do it again.

Is it possible still have dysautonomia after passing the treadmill test? I can exercise near my max heart rate but still hit small 1 or 2 day flare ups after long workouts, movies, arcades, have issues with beer/very spicy foods etc. I'm also doing vision rehab (no more visual issues) and getting my neck treated (still have some whiplash issues). Also, how long should you be able to maintain max exertion steady state cardio before doing weight lifting?

No - if you have dysautonomia, you are essentially exercise intolerant. If you can exercise fully with no issue, then you can pretty much rule out dysautonomia. Concussion symptoms can be due to a bunch of different issues aside from autonomic (inflammation - issues with beer and spicy foods lead me here...neck issues, visual issues (workouts and movies/arcades lead me here), etc. etc. etc.

Got a concussion on December 18th ... when I work out I only go all the way. After I feel a little nauseous and light headed. Is this bad ? Or is it common post concussion symptoms ?

what if the headaches are already at 8 at baseline ? the test protocol says it may worsen max 3 points

You're supposed to delay the test to another day if the starting score is above a 7

Are you saying there should be absolutely no symptoms after exercise? I thought moderate symptoms after finishing were okay. I'm having trouble understanding. Too much vs too little

I'm not a medical doctor but I can say this from experience and from what I've learned on the internet (Other concussion stories and KZbin). Most concussion clinics seem to have a pretty much similar approach to how to treat PCS and a concussion, and they all say that aerobic exercise is very important to heal. Some that have used exercise to heal seem to do 30 min a day directly 5-7x a week. Others seem to build it up. I myself have worked out from home for a while and just used a build up gradually approach like Dr Cameron advocates for stimuli in general, where I do 20 minutes 4x and then 25 minutes 4x, then 30 minutes 4x and continue on like that. It worked without any problem from home. But now I feel like I have to dare working out from the gym instead and will have to build myself up again because the symptoms that get triggered from the stimuli in the gym hit me in the face again. Point is, even though I think and feel like most of the things Dr Cameron Marshall are logical and reasonable, I do not follow the buffalo threshold thing with exercise. Instead I use a timer, try to stick to moderate-intensity exercise mostly and build up gradually. According to some other clinics, experiencing symptoms at a moderate level is fine, it is when it's dramatic you should cut back and try again.

I need to know how to stop head pressure. I've had it off and on 4 years. For Christ's sake please tell me what causes the head pressure and how to make it stop.

Does having a nausea feeling after working out bad ? Or is it common post concussion symptoms after working out

You confuse this so much just how much you need to workout? Lol
