Its rare to see but the love for Yamaha R6 is unparalleled in India. Indian bikers just dig Yamaha R6 and I always get demands of riding this bike all the time. So here in this video I did a ride on this 2019 Yamaha R6 for you guys.

My dear fellow Indians. Don't cry over Yamaha not bringing R6 to India. They know the market very well. They know how an average indian brain thinks. So they won't take a risk to bring the R6 to a price conservative and not so mature market like India. Indian Track Culture is still very small and without an extensive Motosport culture these sort of bike are very unlikely to arrive in this market.

THORzero9 not every bike sells 5000 units a year in india still we have alot of brands in recent years selling thr best (rocket , street glide , diavel ) , for a lot of ppl in india price is not an issue

@@aveekh That'a the problem with people. They start comparing on the basis of price. The motorcycles you mentioned above are Cruisers not performance oriented SuperSports bikes. That's the reason why premium supersports bike are not launched here in india because own lads gonna compare the R6 with a Z900 or such bikes which are off different categories. And these are the signs of an immature market.

@@aveekh there is no doubt about what you say, there are definitely much more premium bike selling at this point of time in India but it's not the price of the bike per se rather the price of the bike vis-a-vis it's segment competitors.. we all know that YAMAHA has a tendency to charge a premium on it's bikes. They really never are vfm proposition. ZX 6R being it's only competition in India, is priced superbly and offers bang for the bucks. But if YAMAHA brings R6 to India it will be placed in the price bracket of ZX 10R.. That's were the problem lies with Yamaha.. I would choose ZX10R over R6 any day if they are closely priced.. apart from that YAMAHA is really focusing on market share rather than establishing itself as a premium brand in India.. which finally brings us to a conclusion that we have a very slim chance of seeing R6 on Indian roads any time soon..and this really burns my heart ...

Definitely a very aggressive riding position.. ur wrists were quite bend all the time in the video.. ur wrist angle was in access of 45 degree all the time.. this fact speaks a lot about the aggressive riding position of Yamaha R6.. but since u took a very small ride and are used to super sports riding style u didn't felt it.. buts from the looks of it, the riding position of R6 sits next to Daytona.. any how good content.. would love to see this bike on Indian roads..

CBR650R is not from same segment, hence it is easier than other mentioned bikes. R6 have the highest seat height among Supersports at 850mm while others are at 825-835mm range. There is little difference in footpeg and clipons position as well in all. Daytona is very narrow when you sit on it and it difficult to believe that this is a 675cc 126bhp bike. R6 and zx6 feels very wide in comparison.
