The Solcast integration was removed. You can still run this dashboard and automations without it. There is a workaround to add a custom cloned repository and install it from that. github.com/hacs/integration/issues/3745#issuecomment-2143191974 Spare a moment and consider that there are developers that build amazing software that is completely free of charge, always be kind a grateful. This developer got fed up with the abuse and decided to delete his whole github account including all projects. A great loss for the opensource community

Brillant Heinz - Just what's required as the SunSynk Flux settings don't work. yours has resolved the problem. Takes the manual exporting out all automated now. Thank you again

More people should be able to benefit from these automations. Than you for providing feedback!

Thanks Heinz. This is just what I need - I'm about to switch to Octopus Flux and was looking at how I would go about setting up the automation 😁

Than you for the feedback! Please let me know once you are up and running! From the support I provided I estimate there are at least 5 systems using these automations

@@SmartHomeIntegrations I will - I'm sure I'll have more questions for you. At the moment I'm still waiting for Octopus to update my meter details (2 weeks since it was upgraded)

Does this work on the EPEX market too?
@SmartHomeIntegrations7 күн бұрын
If you can access the epex data with an API then I see no reason why this would not work (assuming epex = European Power Exchange)

Is there any way of getting this working with Octopus Agile too?
@SmartHomeIntegrations29 күн бұрын
There was one user that contacted me, he was on octopus agile and it was very easy to make a few changes and make this work for octopus agile too. The BottecapDave integration has a switch that allowed charging over the cheapest slots for the day.

“Hello, I watched the video, but I’m having trouble. Is there a possibility to share a backup of your system with us? Can we input our own information on top of that structure and use it?”

Initially I tried to use backups but most people have their own systems and very few people would use the backup. With some plugins also rapidly evolving my backup would be outdated within weeks. I then switched to config files with a youtube video to explain the details, the idea is to put down a rough guide and allow people to learn along the way while the config files are easy to update. What part are you struggling with? I also include some support with the dongle I sell, it is important to me to make sure my clients are up and running and they derive value from their investment (like saving on electricity costs)

@@SmartHomeIntegrations “Thank you for your attention. Unfortunately, I cannot make a purchase for the dongle you’re selling; shipping to my country would be challenging. First, I have the open-source code you provided, and I’ve been trying to load it onto an Adafruit QT Py model, but I encountered an error. I also use Home Assistant, so I have some familiarity with it. However, I couldn’t find the Solcast PV integration in HACS. Considering this, I wonder if I could load the complete backup onto the ESP, which might simplify the other installation steps. Additionally, I’d add my own accessories on top of that.”

@@muratgurbuz9408 check the pinned comment on this video for a workaround to the Solcast integration. There is a clone repository that you can manually load to access solcast. You could run the automations without it though, it is only used for display purposes. The board you are trying to use makes use of the RPi2040, I am doubtful if everything will work on that chip as it is still very much under development, and considered beta. Better stick with tried and tested hardware. I have shipped to most countries in Europe but there are still a few missing from my list. Where are you from, I will check if there is an affordable way to send
