I have 8 Noble GMR receivers. Those are the micro receivers, really small. R4M receivers for G7P are even smaller. FGr4b receiver for Noble is also smaller than the FGr4s you show.

Yeah they just aren’t really easy to come by usually. Guess I can order them from aliexpress and wait 3 months to get them. Anywhere to get them quicker? The fgr4b is quite a bit more expensive also. I can get these for dirt cheap and they work great! I just prefer the rear steer on my gt5 though. It’s not as smooth on the noble. I should work on a mod for it!

@@2fmrc I have all from Banggood, 2 weeks to Austria (btw. AliExpress 2022 does not need 3 months, but 10 days - 3 weeks at least to EU). Banggood often has GMR on discount for less than 30 bucks. Bought all mine for less than 30. Unfortunately I do only have 1 R4M for the G7P, they have been in stock only short time, since then sold out. Have more on preorder, they are perfect (but both need JST ZH 1.5 plugs, FCX24 has JST GH 1.25).

When you’re customizing doing mods that you’ve never done before, it’s hard to video that. That’s why I said I wasn’t a “bench guy”. My budget at the moment is pretty tight, my family just moved from CA to Virginia. Here's my question. @BeeeZeeeRN2 жыл бұрын
What did you use to connect shifting servo horn to transmission??
@shockman80142 жыл бұрын
Do you know where I can find a stock ESC for the stock fcx24. I don't know if the problem is with the esc or the steering servo and because of how long it takes to get parts I'm looking to get both. I found the servo on FMS hobby site. The steering works a bit sometimes with hella lag, sometimes perfectly, and sometimes the wheels don't turn at all. It cycles through these conditions every second to a few seconds. It might even be the wires because the idiots at FMS also have the servo wire double as a limiting strap. I'm thinking about just buying a new one that I can get in a day just for a parts truck and doing 3rd party electronics on the new model. I also need a new furitek motor or stock transmission replaced on the scx c10. Got in a bind, heard a snap and cussed when the puny driveshaft joints were intact. I can't believe that was not the weak point. I will get both of those things as well. I should have bought a real boat, less of a money pit.

@@2fmrc They told me they sell the ESC/receiver combo and Radio separately though not listed. With a steering servo on the way I cut the wires on the FCX and a SCX servo and tested the scx servo on the FCX. It confirmed the servo was the problem so no need for a receiver after all.
@2fmrc2 жыл бұрын
@@shockman8014 yeah they list it as transmitter/receiver and then another listed as esc/receiver which makes no sense because the esc & receiver are all in one lol. It’s the same price ($18.99) for either. Not sure why anyone wouldn’t want the transmitter with it if they were both the same price. For what it’s worth these transmitters will bind to any of these esc/receivers. Awesome that you got it solved though!

Is there technology in the 1/24 scale to have the steering on the same transmitter wheel with servos synced the same or opposite switchable like my hbx Devastator has. (the only good thing it does have. The rest is incredibly lame ). My radio supports mixing but my brain doesn't.
@2fmrc2 жыл бұрын
Yes there is. I can actually set it up that way with the gt5 I just prefer the dial for more control. You can do it with the 1/24s but usually just have to use another transmitter. The stock stuff won’t do it unless you run a separate 4ws controller like the Bastens quad steer that I reviewed a long time ago. It’s ok but you’re better off going with a different transmitter imo. What transmitter do you run with mixing? It should more than likely have a 4ws setting that let’s you cycle through the different options without doing all the mixing stuff.
