Nope, I play in first person still. I've tried all those third person camera and combat mods, but something always feels off for me. Idk, it feels like Skyrim just wasn't made with third person in mind so when you add all those third person mods it feels... clunky. Also, the animations don't land right most of the time. For me at least. No shade on those animators and their hard work, but no matter what I always feel that the animation has little weight and stiff or at least has stiff moments and that makes it apparent that it's not part of the game. Look at actual third person combat games like God of War or Dark Souls. Those animation have weight behind them and land.

Though I'm a veteran, this may seem like a noob request, but I'd love to see a video on how you actually use these combat systems if you are primarily a keyboard/mouse user, or needing a controller..... whether some systems can be used vanilla of mouse, or specifically controller. I personally have never been an X-Box, PlayStation dude as I've always been PC Key/mouse.... and still am. Would be cool to see the difference and maybe get this old dog to use new tricks ;)

I love this fucking game dude more than AC series, I've started 3 playthrough in PS3,PS4 then PC just last year but i never got to finish each playthrough due to lack of time and work😢💀, but then modding came to mind and started to learn so I'm very new to modding and i never thought it is so complicated that not every mod is for every patch version of the game so i watch a lot of mod videos here and a lot of them are very helpful and i APPRECIATE and THANK YOU really but one problem that i noticed is that also a lot of mod guiders don't put the game version they're using and it gives confusion to their audience. Some people think that they can use every mod in their game patch but it is not and I'm one of them but I've my lesson 😁😅, so appreciate the guides and everything so pls just keep doing it👍.

I don't know if the hero was released when the video was made, but Goobisoft has released the Varangian Guard as a 1-handed axe (and shield) user. Hopefully the mod maker will update with that at some point.

You have to install differently now. TK Dodge NG, TK dodge RE, and the AE patch then run in nemesis

So when i go to download SCAR on nexus, it says Combat Pathing Revolution is a required download. But CPR is only for v1.5.97 and the author is only going to do work for that version. So does anyone know if CPR works just fine in the latest version? (believe its 1.6.1170?) or if I wanted to use SCAR, I'd have to downgrade?

You can parry all the time no matter what you are using because valhalla combat is a terribly jank mod. Two spells equipped as a massive warhammer is coming at you just press right click. No animation will play you will just parry it lol.

@@Griff99ita Right click i meant btw. The way it's coded, it doesn't seem to have a condition of whether you are blocking or not, just if you press right click. It also makes your stamina regen insanely high. Which defeats the entire purpose of using light armor or stamina regen enchantments.

Many reasons most games play third person. First person limits melee combat to be boringly basic. Catch up with the times

All you need to make vanilla combat good is better jumping, mortal enemies, the full simonrim suite, and brace yourself combat gameplay overhaul + better jumping patch. Do not install precision, it will make all combat encounters turn into back peddle simulator because the ai doesn't know its range is drastically reduced. This setup makes combat super fun, being able to jump around while casting spells thanks to CGO, being able to sprint jump into combat and flying bash or power attack someone. I wouldn't recommend using any two-handed weapons because the animations are motion sickness inducing. Also, don't install valhalla combat or any timed block mod. Valhalla is super jank, you can parry attacks with two spells equipped. It will crash your game and completely trivialize combat.

@@matthew66306 it's pretty common for alot of people in North America and a few other places to pronounce it that way, in the same way that people in the North American south will pronounce certain words very differently from the north or mid-west. Honestly it's pretty common to hear it pronounced as 'arsed' or 'assed' in alot of places too. It's just a difference in dialect developed over the course of history through culture, everyone's got that.

I usually don't like your videos because I feel like you don't encompass enough other mods but I really liked this video. I felt like you went over quite a variety of actual relevant combat mods. For these mods to work, you need to install like 15 mods wich are prerequisites and are specially hard to instal (just like the mods in this video). Just saying, You will expend a day or two modding it just to have these mods and BEG them to work. I dont know why is so much required to mod Skyrim. The prevuous titles were just copy paste and you had it.

The enemies a supposed to be tanky, because you are not supposed to be a god at level 1. What's the point of leveling up your skills if you already kill everything in 3 hits. Have you ever played skyrim before and leveled past 15. Invest in smithing and enchanting and your combat skills you will destroy everything in your path very quickly to the point where you want bullet sponges back.

I just spent the last 8 hours getting these mods set up....and unfortunately a few of them dont work with the current version of Ae :( especially if ur using a controller like me. Precision, 1 click power attack, cinematic killz, and dodge mco do not work with controller/at all. Maybe i messed up, but i spent literally 8+ hours setting these few mods up. Hopefully others are better at it than me!
