Your videos taught me alot & it helped me with my techniques too. But sadly, my gears are only made up of an Iphone 13 Pro Max & a Zhiyun Smooth 4 gimbal. Editting only on my iPad using VN application. Really shooting car cinematics on a budget 😅 Hopefully I can get gears like you & prolly get a better cleaner cinematography.

Hi , I have now to record sound synco wireless transmetter and zoom h1n recorder . Micro with deadcat on the back on the car . But I make tests with different audio gain level but We heard great exhaust , but when the speed of vehicule decrease , wee heard a sound same of wind or tires on road . I typically shoot everything at 120-240fps. Then I re-interpret the footage that doesn't need to be slowed down

If you shoot wide open, do you always have to keep in mind your distance from the car since the dof is so shallow ? You would have to be a decent distance away so that most of the car is in focus, right ? Also… do you generally try to keep the whole car in focus or just the front or just one section ?

Hey man, the frame you put the gimbal in, what is that??? I am shooting a very special car soon and am really trying to step up my videos. For those main static car shots are you using a 24mm-75mm or similar lens mostly?
