No, it's not an egregious mistake, but the fact that he was telling people how to write without mistakes and then makes one himself is what makes the error significant. The whole point I was getting at was that people should write however they like and that errors in writing whether they be spelling, grammar, or capitalization are actually hard to avoid completely.

Here's a Haphazard Theory: If you collect all the pages, Slendy will release you from whatever horror would've otherwise been in store for you, all the pages tells about him and the horror that he entrails, maybe he wants you -the collector of the pages- to go out and tell everybody about him, so that people will fear him and change according to his wishes... or something, who know's what is on his mind...

Well, if he was real, none of those would defend him because A. If you're too far away, he can't grab it, and I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be useful against a tank. B. He would obviously take damage against explosions. C. He doesn't teleport, he walks when you're not looking.

For the truth, the story I read about slender man started in knights time, when this beast can be slain by swords or any melee weapons that is from iron or steel that become his ban. now on these generation everyone got guns and knives which become completely useless, because we don't have armors against him.
