the atmosphere, the sounds, knowing theres a creepy man thats trying to take you. and then combine that with never knowing whats around the corner. its not so much scary as it is anxiety from the suspense of your impending doom.

That was added in 0.9.3, and then was taken out in 0.9.4 for the current ending. At the time this was the ending of the game, only in 0.9.3 did you have to return to the entrance.

One major thing about the tip of turning your flashlight off. Flashlight On: Easier to see (for you), harder to be found by Slender Man, easy indication of when looking at a page. Downside: Can't look at Slender Man as long. Flashlight Off: Can look at Slender Man for longer. Downsides: Harder to see (for you), easier to be found by the Slender Man, lost time in clicking around a page to pick it up.

Legit the scariest game ever and one of the scariest things I've ever experienced in general. Oh my gosh that game was terrifying. My heart was pounding. I couldn't find my way around and got boxed in a corner after I got the first page. Then he came out of nowhere and got me. I squealed in fear. Still freaked and am never playing that again. It is coming off my computer tonight.

I've managed to get 7 pages three times, but I can't do it. I thought that if you have him on the other side of a tree and back away, he would do that sort of split second static thing and teleport in front of the tree. Seems like that isn't the case, I'm going to try it again with that trick. Thanks! :) Earned a like from me.

The update has been made, I think he's set it around 2 or 2,5 minutes to remove the possibility of searching out the notes beforehand before collecting them all.

Well the Slender Man does move when you're looking at him, though it's only if he's within 15 - 20 meters of you or so and if there's nothing between you and him.

its sad to see people think they reached the end by collecting all 8 notes. However in all slender games there is in fact a way to escape. In this particular slender game, when you do colkect the notes you can then escape via the hole in the chain link fence.

yes slender man will pretty much teleport and end up cutting you off to the point to where you are trapped and then he gets you

no it dosn't. you will have to turn around at some point to go to a page, when you do he will be RIGHT THERE because you never looked behind. you have to look behind a lot or he will be right behind you and you won't have a chance to run because he is too close
