The hardest for me is the Baby Bowser Spirit. It's literally impossible without cheesing. That or Dr. Wily, it took me 2 and a half hours with that fight.

For me Hero was a very easy one, I just camped the CPUs with great autoheal (celebi). The hardest one for me was the ender dragon spirit. It took me hours to beat it, I don't know why though.

Classic Mode is my favourite part of Smash and probably what I've spent most my time on, I've got 9.9 with every character but got stuck with Byleth, Mario and Pac-Man being the only ones I hadn't completed for like a month. (Btw I recommend Young Link for people wanting an easy 9.9, Ganon being the last boss makes it quite easy and most of Young Links fights are 1v1s)

Ah, another 9.9 runner. I've gotten it with most characters but there are some that are just way too much. Some recent ones I gave up on were Simon and Hero but some others I haven't are Shiek, the Animal Crossing charaters and the shotos. I'd actually always recommend Wolf since it's a bunch of 1v1's on some not so big stages and finishes with Galleom who's usually free as hell.

For me, the thing preventing 9.9 most of the time is... the game just refusing to bump it that high. It's happened enough that I no longer want to get every character there, and instead will settle for 9.0 or above. That being said, I do have multiple 9.9s... including my first ever Joker run.
