I tried to calculate e to the power of i pie. I have set the mode to CMPLX, and press the i button before inputing pie, but I kept getting error responses. I know that the correct answer is -1. Can you please help. Thank you.

The Casio calculators Non programmable models do not support this function for complex numbers, so you shall get an error. Download the HP 42S calculator app (Free42) from Google Play Store, and try it out. You have to be familiar with RPN system. Go to Wikipedia, HP 42S article, then download the manual from the link provided, and you need to read it.
