I’ve been into Jordan’s for 12 years. I always look up the OG when a retro is coming back. I love that Nike is doing what they’re doing with retros like the wc3, bc3 and military blues. I’ve always wanted a fresh pair of the OG’s and Nike is trying their best to keep them true to spec. 2018 bc3 never caught my eye but the 2024 😍 subtle print is much better and it’s close as I’ve ever seen it to the OG. The way Welty compared the two is exactly how I feel.

As an owner of both…2024 is better. Blessing in disguise that the shoe market is 💩 right now. Easy double up, just like reimagined 4’s imo. Will haunt people in the years to come for skipping over.

Been wearing retro 3's for 20+ years now. The reimagined is the most comfortable wearable version. The padding is way more low profile, the leather is way softer than past pairs. If the Black/Cement is anything like those they are way better than the 2018 pair.

If people like the 2018 Black Cements more due to being "trained" for them look a certain way, then it's time for the people to be untrained. Nike shooting for closer and closer to the OG appearance should be celebrated imo. If people say they love a shoe, why should they love a facsimile over the original? I personally prefer the AM1 Big Bubble over the standard AM1s, and I prefer these 2024 BCs to the 2018s. Smoother+softer leather, more shallow toebox, and less padding in the collar are all wins in my book.
