I've recently have been blessed by our Lord through the holy spirit. After years of a being an Atheist, I began to pray to and ask God to show me his existence after this "pandemic". I asked and he answered. I pray my rosary everyday. I have not been this happy since my childhood. God gave me my soul back. Satan tried to steal it. I'm no longer living in darkness. Bless my father of a saint who sent me here. I needed to hear this. I know Jesus has a plan for me.

A S I had the same issue as you. Here in Los Angeles , most are novus ordo churches, so I was forced to fast from receiving Holy Communion. But God led me to a not so distant Parish whose priest is traditional. He allows receiving Communion on the tongue and on our knees! Even when we are restricted to hold mass outside, the priest still brings 2 kneelers outside so we can receive communion kneeling and on the tongue. I go there go once a week for confession and anticipated Sunday Mass. Pray about it and call every Parish and ask if they allow Communion the tongue. Good luck and God bless. 🙏

Those of you who have Fr Altman for your priest: You are SO blessed. Our parish priest preached on this Gospel and told us that we should take what we want from Jesus' teachings, and keep the secular stuff, too -- and view Jesus and His teachings as a "condiment" in our lives, to spice it up. Wish more priests would give homilies like this. I pray you may continue, because our church is becoming so protestant in it’s teaching. People don’t believe in Hell anymore, forget purgatory. They’re beginning to believe because Christ died on the cross for us so everything is good. They don’t realize that you may be forgiven for most sins. This sermon is a solid counterpoint to Bishop Robert Barron's (from Von Balthasar) mantra that "there is a reasonable hope that all men are saved". Our Blessed Lord has made it clear that this is NOT the case!
