I NEEDED THIS with a friend, for the longest time I thought he was more intelligent than me, because he did all the higher classes like math, and that he was an engineer, and I was just an actor, but I really travelled the world and listened to people, worked for different companies, assimilated into different worlds, and I think abstractly and I am able to put the pieces together in time, so I ended up gaining much more knowledge and life experience than him, so when I actually started to talk about fact in detail, he would dismiss means say that I overthinking, but actually I wasn't, I had brought my attention to a college professor, and he said my line of thinking was correct, and out of the box and creative and I really stumbled onto something and now that I am in my 30s I am starting to see many people who I grew up with very clearly, I was ahead of all them, this entire time I thought I was the dumb one, they're not dumb of course, but it made me see them as they are, they were limited to one way of thinking, where as I was able to expand my mind to different corners of life.

I had this aspect with my ex 20 years ago, the naivity in me was so high that I really didnt see who he was, I experienced physical abuse with him later on, but that is maybe connected with other aspects in our chart

This was super helpful and spot on! I’ve been friends w someone I fell head over heels from the beginning. And I am playing the supportive friend when in reality, I am in love. Super afraid to tell her because I feel like I will lose her trust. I don’t know what she’s hiding from me, but she flirts and shares stories, yet at the end of the day she avoids the possibility of becoming more intimate. This is a truly challenging weakening aspect. I feel depleted once she leaves because of all of the effort put onto the lying and hiding. And I wonder if she feels the same when she’s around me?

I had this when I first started college. It started so great and then turned so sour. I was so deeply in love with this man, I didn’t see how aggressive he could be with others. And me, having a very debilitated Sun, completely lost myself in the relationship. I started playing the "perfect girlfriend" and did everything he wanted me to. And when that dynamic started to wear me out, I shoved it all up so I could keep my act. I had started to see his aggresive nature too, so I was a little scared. Eventually I became very depressed, and started loosing intrest in everything and crying all the time. I broke it off when I realized I just didn't have it in me to keep un the charade. We also had Moon and Mars square Neptune.

Certainly a punch to the gut when you said the word “lying”. (Our square was 0 degrees and 0 minutes btw) My ex and I had this tension of only showing what we wanted to show eachother and leaving out the bad. The tension of both of us knowing deep down that we were lying to eachother by omission was always unspoken about. Oh my god. We had Venus-Pluto aspect in our composite and very tightly opposed in our synastry. It was extremely addictive. I was the one to finally cut the cord when I felt like he left me battered and bone dry. We really ran eachother until the very VERY end until both of us ran on fumes. The push and pull of being on and off kept us addicted to the short lived honeymoon phase that would eventually end in us both being exhausted by the end. Dont even get me started on the gaslighting and cheating. It was a hot mess. I’m glad I left.

Exact same aspect with a toxic ex. Neptune square Sun, Mercury, Moon in composite and Pluto opposte Venus. The guy done his very best to DESTROY me but astrology saved me. Yeeeaaahhh just met a man much older than me...we have Sun, Moon, Mercury and Mars square Neptune in the Composite chart. Yikes!!! It does feel so romantic and I feel absolutely high, in another world around him. He's already trying to end it saying he's not good for me, and frankly, in the long run he is probably right. I just want to enjoy the moment while it lasts. We are very different people with totally different backgrounds yet feel such a strong heart-centered connection. Maybe it's not realistic and it will end soon, no idea, but honestly I am happy to just experience that feeling, even for a little while. Time will tell how it pans out.

+jaymesEo6 NO, it won't change what goes on between the Sun and Neptune. And if the sun and moon are conjunct then the Moon is also likely square Neptune. You will experience the good stuff that comes from a Sun/Moon conjunction and the fun that comes from a Venus/Jupiter conjunction but it won't change the themes you will have to deal with regarding Neptune.

Hi Jewel, what if one person's Neptune squares the others sun in synastry, but then there is also a the neptune of of the other person sextiling the sun. Would this effect be somewhat offset? What if pluto and sun are actually in a harmonious relationship in synastry (trine or sextile)? I see a lot of signs for compatibility, such as synastry of moon in 4th and 5th house respectively, sun in 7th and 4th house, mercury in the other's 7th house, etc Is there a way this can be offset into something positive when there are very strong aspects in the chart relating to relationship/connection with each other?

85% of my composite with a REALLY long term, REALLY close friend are two stelliums (3rd Capricorn with our moon, saturn, neptune and uranus and 5th in pisces with the sun and most of the other personal planets) at square and lord listening up on the aspects by themselves, they're mad contradictory

What about in synastry between two people? I have this with someone I’m interest in. My Sun square his Neptune. My Venus conjunct his Mars and his Venus square my Mars. My Sun also in his 8th house and his Moon in my 8th...He’s very handsome but I don’t think he likes me as much as I like him:( I haven’t approach him to see if he likes me or not but the first time we met, he seems unsure and very uncomfortable with me. I don’t think I’m going to approach him anymore now knowing about Sun square Neptune. I was Neptune square his Sun once before a long time ago. I’m avoiding this aspect now. well, I think that it is not he who idealizes you, then you do it, but remember that one of the two will do it, why that type of energy exists!, you could also see in which of your houses his neptune falls, you I comment that I also look like this with my crush, we don't speak directly, but he looks at me a lot from a certain date, it was strange and I'm still not sure if he idealizes me (which is what should happen in this square and for the many testimonies), he is neptune and I am sun, but remember also that neptune is semi-generational, I have it with many other people and I am sure that if those other people do not idealize me for good, then it is for bad, the same with my crush, look for other aspects for greater security, sorry for my english

So turns out I was "lying". I hate to say that, but I was withholding and don't think it was on purpose. My ex put me on the highest pedestal and always called me the best person ever. We admitted there were still feelings but we'd be friends. They statyed seeing someone else and I couldn't stand it but I acted as the "cool" friend being supportive, knowing deep down i wasnt happy. I have a scorpio venus and eventually my jealousy EXPLODED and they were so shocked.. citing they never knew I got jealous..arg. i don't know..I just wanted to live up to what they thought of me. I also have natal neptune in my 7H. It's a year later I check our composite and see we had this aspect 😑😑 I'm a big of your videos ans watch this. Lol feels like your video describes us to a T or the dynamic..it's scary. I'll check the synastry to see if we also have other hard aspects to neptune.

+Cutie Patootie No, a Saturn aspect can't make up for a hard Neptune aspect somewhere else. It can add reality to the part of the relationship that is affected by the Saturn aspect but it won't take away the Neptune issues.

Why does Neptune and the 12th house have such a negative connotation? What if these are two people coming together who have evolved and are just highly spiritual with one another? Or they need each other to activate that spiritual raw connection to be truly who they are with one another? And yeah, at first they can put on a facade but then they quickly realize they can’t with this person so they start showing up as their authentic self? It doesn’t necessarily play out in a negative way. I feel like astrologers continue to create fear over this house/planet and it’s exactly what we shouldn’t do. How about we shift our paradigms and view it as a a holy grail where both people show up as their spiritual self and it takes self awareness and evolution to do so. People like that do exist ya know. People who have done the work and continue to do the work.

Becuse it’s a square, that’s why it’s a potential conflict. Neptune is lovely but squares represent a lesson. The people are bringing out too much idealism in each other. When they see the truth of who they are they typically compare the ideal to the reality and see the relationship as a failure. I’m not a hater of Neptune but I do try to prevent people from breaking their own heart. It’s a waste of time when you could be legitimately happy.
