Interesting, I didn't know I have to learn psychology to draw something - meaning that your awesome video amazed me again! You're putting so much time and effort in your art and videos, that's just fantastic. You're always leaving me speechless for some moments. Well, everybody has a different opinion on things like kargrim obviously does, but I really believe that your tricks are very useful to keep everyone's eyes on the picture. I am so happy that you're doing these videos. They help alot!

Yes. Absolutely. Anything you draw, be it good or bad is teaching you something and is a step towards improving Even if it wasn't, doing something you enjoy is always worth it.

Thanks a lot Sycra, that's one of the best playlists I found on your channel. Btw, it would be great to see continuation =) ... seriously!) and just in case if u by chance see this msg, there is the question: Are this rules/tricks as important in another types of art as in illustration (and maybe fine art); concept art for example (I know u may be fed up with questions about concept art, so sorry =) )

The armor plate on her chest points directly away from her face which I found distracting, I spent most of the video staring at the detail on the clothing. Rules of composition always felt made up to me so I find it hard to learn and utilize. Has anyone *actually* done research to see how viewer's eyes are affected by composition and theorized as to why this happens? That I'd like to see.

hey sycra, I have a question, I'm hoping maybe you read this and might answer it. I've been watching lots of videos about leading the eye in composition, and I do understand the gist of it. but I have a big issue with it: the eye doesn't ever follow these lines technically, but the eye always saccades around a still image. therefore I have a hard time completely buying what people say about using leading lines.is it that they really mean 'the mind's eye' or 'the focus of the viewer"? because to be frank, the human eye literally never follows a stable object. it always saccades, and a small image like these ones involve saccades directly from one side of the image almost to the entire other side. thanks if you can give any insight on this. -jay

And I think this is bullshit. You will look on her face because there's smth wrong with it. Some flat nose and enormous chin. And you start wondering "what the hell happened to that face? Was it smashed with hammer or smth?" And when you get tired of thinking about face, you'll look at that nice clothes. And there's nothing to do with that "pointing" geometry of picture. Her fingers are pointing out of image, but I don't want to look there.
