Hi everyone,
its been a little bit i know, but i just didnt really have much to talk about and (for sure not my fault) I didnt have any recordings of me drawing stuff to upload and even talk over. here is a recording from a while ago since the one thing i did yesterday got corrupted and now i cant use the drawing timelapse anymore... ALSO IMPORTANT ( kinda) I have seen that more and more people join the little discord community here and thats super nice, learning to draw is always cooler if you got people with the same mindset along for the ride. BUT i also noticed that most of you just lurk around without even introducing yourselfs, which is a shame and since i forgot to speak of it in the video im doing that now. Introduce yourself and lets all have a nice time ( not that there is a need for that but just by joining up a discord for art you wont get too much out of it without posting every once in a while)
Happy drawing everyone

When i was in my uni years, the 1st semester I was put with Graphic design students in my dorm room. One room has 3 to 4 people and I saw what they do for their 1st semester of assignments. Sketchbooks full of lines, Circles to spheres, etc. They tell me that is for line confident before they get into real thing. My point is art is mentally exhausting. At times, it can be boring and you get mentally exhausting pretty quickly. Knowing that, I still learn how to draw so that I can draw my character someday when i feel enough improvement. Thanks for the advice! although some of them are quite hurt to hear but it is the truth. p/s : I'm not one of the graphic design students. I just pick drawing right before covid ends and still do it to these days. 30 min to 1hr at least at specific topic. Currently focusing on anatomy

Thats nice to hear. Yes, drawing is a very challenging thing to get better at, since deliberate practice doesnt result in immediate improvement likr in other things. But learning things like anatomy, perspective etc. Is a good way of leveling up your art skills by just knowledge alone, without having to fill an entire sketchbook. Hope you ll continue on your art journey.

Personally I hate how drawing and art on this type of communities have become this flat and liveless thing, that everyone sees to get mad on. Nice vid

yeah, its kinda sad really. But its not like there is anything we as individuals can do to work against that kind of hive mind thinking. haters gonna hate is all we can say :)

True that. Also I really believe you have to put in the consistent work. If you can it's better to draw 2-3h/day 6x straight than doing 10h one day, then 1h the next, then falling out and not drawing for a week :(

U can learn as much as u want..if u have no born talent is in vaine.

Thats a pretty standard opinion to have, unfortunately its just wrong. You can learn to draw just like you can learn to read and write, if you dont seem to improve you re learning the wrong things or just not putting real effort into it. And thats a Fact. You can easily look up old stuff of mine and see that i have no inherent talent when it comes to drawing, and though I am nowhere near the skill level of an Industry Professional, I have come as far as i did only through effort and learning the right things. So i recommend you dont spread misinformation about things you re not educated about. Its fine if your opinion differs, just dont go around dampening others moods with it.
