lol well if you had a bit of wisdom... most ppl with little experience polishing or in any other profession for that matter don't know the difference of some of these things... it's a question I get quite a lot... maybe you just know everything about everything!!! thanks for watching the full 10 minutes :))

Recently i switched to Menzera for my aluminum polishing too like i did my plastics. Been using that 439T bar for first cut and I like how greasy it is for first cut. Goes a lot further in between reloading the buff with compound

Thank you for clarifying! I remember watching a video where a dude just said "I use a brown bar" and nothing else.

I disagree in Texas we get hot temperatures if your not using a dry bar during the summer or at least a semi dry bar they your gonna be left with a puddle of compound

Bringing menzerna from Germany to Canada is a high carbon footprint, why not buy local, just as good and the abrasives are made in North America.
@DCSuperShine
@DCSuperShine 10 ай бұрын
Not even close! Europeans don't cheap out and cut corners in most of what they do... unfortunately can't say the same for north America. I don't use Menzerna much anymore cause I have my own brand now... it's still Imported tho.. :))

Denis Ive been polishing full time for a couple years and follow your videos. I need a pro tip. I live in Illinois and lately it’s been getting 95-100 degrees and I’m trying to cut my time down as much as possible and one thing that is frustrating and time consuming is the corrosion between the lugs on the rears drives. How do you get between the lugs? I’ve been using a drill with a cotton attachment and some hand polish but it’s still not to my satisfactory. My wheels look amazing it’s just the corrosion/ rust ring sets them off. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks 👍

Hey man first of all thanks for watching the only way to get around the Lug-nuts properly is by taking the wheels off and sanding first. aside from that I do my best with an SOS mixed with varsol… Then elbow grease with some metal polish. I’ve tried the drill method… I find by hand works best. Hope this helps!

I'm really enjoying all this new content, your doing a great job and I'm very excited to see your comparisons and thoughts on each brand. I'm looking at setting up a truck polishing business here in New Zealand, problem is we are a small country with limited product available, only brand available in nz here is zephyr product as far as i can see and biggest problem is finding proper ratio sanding grits for grinders most company's here only import up to the finest grit of around 300 to 400. Maybe I could buy sanding paper and Rouge off you? I'm new to all this so I'm just experimenting on my own truck and a couple others for now but would like to start going around local company's and doing it as a side business as I get better.

Thank you Dennis. Got my popcorn out and waiting lol!! I agree with you 100% that testing in one's country is a must. However due to EU restrictions some items may be very expensive to import. Still have used Zephyr(UK imported) which I now use only on small engine parts with a Dremel/diegrinder to finish them off. Been using Menzerma as that is also available from Germany and I can say that the results are far better than Zephyr as regards cut and colour etc. Like you said since my clients and me are happy then I will stick with Menzerma. I have also tried Luhmi and am very happy with their wheels and hand polish to get to tight places. Thanks again and please keep them coming. We all appreciate your time to show us your expertise and advice.

Thanks for the videos! So my question is what color do I need to start cutting? I have a Tracker bass boat that I'm trying to polish. I started with an orange wheel from Amazon as well compound. i have done some sanding and i am having a hard time getting the mirror finish. Is it because I need to use a better product and a different color pad? Should I start with green pad and Zephyr brown cutting compound? Please advise its very frustrating. I feel like after this video its my cheap product plus I sanded.
@DCSuperShine
@DCSuperShine Жыл бұрын
Ya definitely cheap compound, if your pad is med to heavy cut it should work fine. With the proper compound… also make sure you sanded right up to 800 or 1000. Hope this helps thanks for watching

Zephyr and renegade are so popular on social media but you have to use so much I use to use a full brown half a green on a truck now with menzerna it like 3-4 bucks more but I can do a full weeks work with 1 bar compared to when I would use 4-5 browns and a white medium cut lasts me 3 weeks that’s working 5-7 days a week

Menzerna bars cost a lot of money, and then the shipping on them. Ive had good luck with Maverick bars getting the job done. I do like menzerna plastic finishing bars for for polishing knife scales

@@DCSuperShine for stainless, aluminum, and brass i just use Maverick. However for resin knife scales i makes and shape for knives i use Menzerna Gw18, GW16, and G52. The G52 is very expensive
