Hi Andy. I love your channel. I am based in the UK but between 2001 and 2003 I spent many months in the Aussie bush filming for a major BBC/ABC natural history series. I worked very closely with conservationist and rangers and saw first hand the damage pigs and other invasive species do. I love the Aussie bush. It holds great memories for me. I am a really keen angler but have never been a hunter. However I have a very different attitude to hunting when it comes to feral pests. . My experience of wild pig in the NT was rather special. A ranger I was with shot a huge boar and dragged it down to a creek. The next day we went back and tracks showed that a huge croc had taken it. However the closest I have come to eating wild pig was in a village in PNG. it is lovely. Keep up the good work. You should get Carl and Alex to come over and fish for Barra.

You've had some great experiences, I've been to the NT as well, some big crocs there for sure. I am still in contact with Carl and Alex, but it's easier and cheaper for them to fly to USA.

Love the vid. My buddies and I are pig hunters and supply most of our neighbors with free pork. As a matter of fact, I just cooked braised pork in Mile Verde (roast pumpkin seed and green chili sauce) this last weekend for a neighborhood dinner. What an honour to introduce children and even adults to the wonderful and often plentiful food available around their homes. This one is a special one, showing how pork can reach your plate. Well done for showing this as I'm sure some would turn their nose up at this sort of content. Andy if you poke holes in the meat, and give it a few whacks with a solid stone to tenderize the meat before you season it, I think it would definitely help retain the seasonings as well as make it more tender, good vid as usual 😄😄😄
