0:58 You need a comma. When we connect two independent clauses, we always use a comma before the coordinating conjunction. Steve is tall, and Kevin is short. In addition to this, your sentence is not very good. You should use a conjunction or an adverb that shows contrast.
@aryanaramzal8314 жыл бұрын
exactly i don't understand why a comma is not used at some places to join to independent clauses with a coordination conjunction... is there a specific reason for this ?
@SandraByers-qb5ln2 ай бұрын
This is because It's not complex so it don't need a comma so and stops and slows down the sentence eg although stevie is tall,Kevin is short

@EasyTeachingNet5 күн бұрын
In your first sentence you have used both 'although' and 'but,' which is unnecessary. When you start a sentence with 'although,' you don't need to use 'but' because 'although' already indicates a contrast. It would be best like this: 'Although I have not prepared, I am positive about my exam and I will certainly achieve good marks.' Otherwise, great work!
