WSB posters have NEVER recommended that people buy Gamestop stocks on margin because it allows the brokerages to loan out their stocks. The prevailing opinions have been to buy what you can afford with cash only and turn off loans of your shares. This entire thing is ENTIRELY the fault of criminals in hedge funds who short sold 140% more shares than exist in the float. It's criminal malpractice from the hedge funds, not the people who figured out how to make money on this.

Yes this is hurting those investors in the HF, but why were the HF's shorting 138% of the stock? So they could drive the price down and then buy up the stock? I would imagine GME would have profits to report with the latest consoles that came out.
