Timestamps 0:50 Lucifron - (Offtanks for the 2 cleave mobs face them away from raid, dont Stack tanks, kill them fast. Lucifron has his 2 debuffs that need to be dispelled. Priests/Palas need to focus the Magic "Impending Doom" that ticks for 2k shadow dmg . The Lucifrons Curse need to be dispelled by the mages and druids fast on the healers.) 3:31 Magmadar - ( Hunters need to tranquilize the Frenzy. Dont stand in the fire from his bomb. His Fear can be countered by Tremor Totems or Fear Ward. Stay spread out and casters outrange the fear range. ) 5:26 Gehennes - ( The 2 Mobs can stun your offtanks and meeles so carefull with Aggro Control till they are dead or use Free Action Potions. Gehennes Curse needs to be decursed from the tanks fast, Mages and Druids . Dont stand in the Rain of Fire. Stay spread out. ) 7:24 Garr - ( The Adds are the difficulty! So banish some , kill them off one by one , and then kill Garr. They explode upon death, so stay away shortly before the die. Garr himselfs purges Buffs off the raid! ) 9:10 Baron Geddon - ( Stack the raid. He casts Inferno arround him, melees need to run out and afterwards back in. Ignite Mana gets applied raid wide and needs to be disspelled on the heals and casters by priests/palas.Or Use Restorative Potions. Living Bomb , player with skull needs to run out of the raid. ) 11:03 Shazzrah - ( Split in 3 groups or semicircle. Every 15 sec AOE Counterspell so dont cast blindly! He blinks into the raidand resets threat , needs to get brought back to MT. Shazzrahs Curse needs to get decursed by mages and Druids! Else the Arcane Explosions will wipe some raid members. Deaden Magic -he buffs himself shamans can purge that.) 13:44 Golemagg - ( MT on Boss , 2nd Tank tank the mob. Magma Splash ticks up on melee DPS so take a small break after 3-5stacks. ) 14:56 Sulfiron - ( Pull the Adds one by one behind the corner and kill them off. Tank him away from the other mobs, and heal the mt strongly. ) 17:00 Majordomus Exekutus - ( Polymorph the Healer Adds! The Elite Adds need to be killed one by one. MT tanks Majordomus a bit away. Polymorphs need to be redone before the duration ends! MD casts Magic Reflect on all Adds so carefull with caster dmg and the polymorphs need to be early. The fight is only about killing the Adds one by one. ) 19:50 Ragnaros - ( 2Tanks as always needs to be someone in melee range, else oneshot fireballs! Melees need to run out and back in every time there is Wrath of Ragnaros (a big knockback). Raid stays spread out with backs to the walls. After 3mins he submerges! And Adds spawn, now use your Fire Protection Potions. Banish some and then stack them in the middle and kill them fast so now use CDs! Keep one banished, Ragnaros will stay submerged so prepare bandage up etc... )

I believe the Sons of Flame also do an AoE mana burn with their damage, so casters need to be aware and stay away, especially when they are grouped up.

Nice guide simple and easy to understand hit on all the relevant and most important points. Could you do a video on the trash and their abilities and how to efficiently clear them? All the trash mobs are what makes MC so time consuming IMO not the bosses haha. I've noticed a lot more wipes and deaths from trash than the bosses.

Ok so we did our first guild run last night, we spanked all the way to Sulfuron, wiped twice, called it a night and are back at it tonight. We tried the recommended strat of LoSing 1 mob at a time. The tanks holding Sulfuron and the other 3 adds were getting deleted even with a dedicated heals assigned to them. Ideas? Was almost like they couldn't tank the hits and dots at the same time. Only boss to give us trouble thus far.

Pugs make this one quite fun indeed. When no one knows what they're doing, things get quite exciting for the under-geared priest.

Geddons constant firedmg can be avoided for Healers/Range DPS when standing in max range, if your tank has trouble holding him at that distance pull him into garrs room Shazzrah can be way easier, when the meeles stack up at the end of the "raidcircle" he will most likely port into the pile and the off/MT won't have much trouble pull him out in time, if you do it that way you also have more space for the ranges to split up. It's way safer for healers/casters. As Punkrat said send in the Meeles @10-20% if well equipped that percentage can be adjusted as well.

we would have a hunter's pet pull Geddon into Garr's room, and basically line up in a semi circle for Geddon, avoid the AOE, and also limit the chance of complete damage if a person does explode the group, because the group is more spread out to begin with. Living bomb person just runs backwards from the semicircle. Definitely recommend this for a PUG or less experienced group.

My guild did the triangle method slightly different than this video. 3 points of a triangle, everyone (except MT) starts at 2 points, MT tanks at 3rd point. Shaz teleports to one of the other points > OT grabs him and stays there. Everyone else runs FROM that point to the empty point. Repeat.

I've tried to find videos on which lock curses to mainly use in MC, but sadly coming up short. We have at most 6 locks in our raid and on average 4 minimum at all times. Other than situational curses like Curse of Tongues on Harbinger, to slow down their healing of each other, which curses should our raid be using outside of CoShadow and CoElement? If someone is spec'ed SM/Ruin should we allow them to cast CoAgony and then how many corruptions should we have on the bosses 4 - 6 or less for other classes to have debuffs on the bosses?

As Melee DPs I just use GFP and pala buff, seems fine so far.

It was cleared like 4 days after Classic started with players in greens. Sure, not everyone is as good as them but pre raid BiS geared people are more then enough. MC is nerfed since game is based of 1.12 patch.

you should probably cleanse your rogues of lucifron's curse after the healers, cause dagger bois literally can't use any abilities while cursed. their dps is based off backstab, which has 60/100 cost, aka 120/100 while cursed. meaning it's not castable lol

2 bad itemization and nerfing made it all so easy that those that played original Vanilla just left the game finding it to much made for easy gaming ..fast lvling and super easy raiding with all the nerfs...so the sad part is...this what they released is not even close to original Classic...and this is very well understood now...2 bad so many younger players will never experience hard gaming and gear requirement to enter some raid...healers will never experience what does it mean to learn to save mana...all in all...a very soft version of original..
