Hi Marybelle, thanks for reaching out. The treated areas are usually more stiff and swollen for a few days after a treatment. But that should not restrict most day to day movements. Specific motions or strain from long stretches of finger picking may be limited for those first few days, but that is something we would discuss with you specifically during your consultation- what exercises to do to help healing your hand, and what to ease back into. You can contact us directly for a consultation.

Hi Najib, thanks for the thoughtful comments. Good question- it depends on the person and the injury. In some cases where a person has lost mobility due to chronic joint stiffness or muscle spasms, a lot of people do regain more motion as the joint repairs. But some people are born with limited flexibility- for instance, check out our "Hip Candidate" video. Dr. Hauser uses himself as an example of a case where flexibility will always be limited, even when there is no pain. Take care.

This is a great video with a sound and ethical message from the practice/practitioner. Great bow tie too! :) If there is very minor degeneration in cartlidge within multiple areas, could the approach of using additional stem cells or PRP to the solution help to prevent further degeneration and encourage regrowth of damaged ligaments and cartlidge?

Also can any of these approaches be used around the hip/leg joints to allow a patient increased flexibility and mobility? I have never been able to sit down on the floor with my legs folded.

For comprehensive prolorhetaoy do they split the 1 injection across all 4 ligaments, or just give you 4 full injections in all 4 places.

I am thinking about getting prolotherapy to my thumb and my finger after injuring it diring volleyball four months ago. It hasnt quite healed right since then and still hurts from time to time. I play guitar, piano and golf so my fingers are very valuable to me. But I was just wondering how long the side effects of prolotherapy last after receiving injections and how long must I wait until getting back to my normal activities? With this info I must consider when to start receiving treatment.

How many injections would be enough for shoulder comprehensive phototherapy? Please reply as I am suffering and I am not sure if my doctor is treating me properly. Also how many injections would be enough for comprehensive neck phototherapy?

Hi- thanks for your question. You can check out our neck treatment videos and see some examples of a comprehensive Prolotherapy treatment for the neck. In our office, approximately 40 injections are typically done for a neck treatment.
