I was sleeping flat for all of my life. 2 years ago, I trained myself ( and it took a year ) to sleep on an incline, because I learned about IBT ( Inclined Bed Therapy ) that states that the brain detoxifies at night better in that position. You are saying the opposite. Could you please discuss this topic further.

How can the jugular vein be closed when you are upright ? As we spend well over half of the day upright, our brain should be suffering from a total lack of blood flow and we know that this just does not happen 😞

That is an interesting point. I have much more head pain when lying down that quickly dissipates after sitting up and standing. I 'm hoping to eventually go to Dr. Hauser for testing.

But sleeping upright or at an incline helps keep my acid reflux down. Ugh

I was thinking exactly same

This is a really great thought - have you been evaluated for the acid reflux? We have seen that digestive issues and gastroparesis have been associated with cervical instability.

@CaringmedicalProlotherapy yes I've had the acid reflux evaluated. Told me I have more silent reflux lpr they call it . But i do also have digestive issues and slow motility

Good info ✅ I will like to mention, Electricity(TENs)+BrainWaves-Mixes will help us all. They are like a pair of glasses that immediately masks the issues 🙌

Can you tell me of any clinics that exist in Illinois that offers the therapy and x-rays you do?

Just had a styloidectomy on the right side and also was diagnosed by an interventional radiologist with 30% blockage on the left side from arachnoid granulation. I've suffered from extreme head pressure, neck pain, blurry vision, bloating, extreme fatigue, pulsatile tinnitus, occipital neck pain, and brain fog. Would you recommend stenting the arachnoid granulation before going further with checking cervical stability? I'm really concerned with csf drainage and vagus nerve function. Thanks so much! I'm on your list BTW 😀

Hey Dave - great question! It would be wise to get an evaluation for cervical instability as the procedure to regenerate the ligaments is not invasive.

Can upper cervical instability cause a lymph node to stay swollen? Or is it the shift to one side that pushing out that lymph node?

Whiplash syndrome can definitely cause degeneration of the cervical spine. We have a lot of research on our website if you'd like to take a look! caringmedical.com/?s=whiplash
