Great info! I own a pair of socks and a pair of sleeves, after experiencing a calf strain. I wasn't sure if they really worked or were just a placebo, but that marathon test is interesting!

I do think there is something to them, and worst case scenario is that they still feel kind of nice to wear but don't actually do anything, but if they feel comfortable then they're comfortable :-)

Do you have any recommendations for compression socks to try?

Mine are from Tiux, I also like the injinji ones!

@@KyleKranz Hmm, it seems my foot size is a large but calf size is medium. It seems I wouldn’t get the correct compression if I purchased a large, but my poor feet if I get a medium 🤪

You looked at the tiux? I don't run in them because they're honestly a little tight for me when I consider the foot size but the compression seems spot-on. In general I probably suggest just going to your local running store and picking up something they have, I can't confirm but I don't think there's a huge amount of difference between the brands. I think in general compression is compression if we're just talking about regular casual wearing of the socks after a run.

@@KyleKranz I did look at the tuix for sizing. I was just looking for something to put on after a long run or hard workout after watching your video… not for running. Good suggestion. I can check out local running store
