I have been watching all your videos. Super good info. And I am going to get a pressure transducer for my scope. For us pea brains it would b easier for us to think in terms of vacuum and pressure, gage, not absolute. As u explain u revert to positive and negative once in awhile. I know u always present in the scientific method, but psi and inches of mercury or water r what the Duma’s like me get real quick. Absolutely loved presentation on firing line, and what’s going on in the coil secondary. Thank u for condensing years of research into bite sized videos. A good teacher can make a complicated subject seem simple. Or digestible. Thanx again!!

I understand the reference to absolute zero as being the absence of atmosphere, which is about 15 psi (which is just a hair more than 1 bar.), which is usually used as the "zero" line on most gauges. Interesting way to approach it. I have used a transducer to diagnose a blocked exhaust.

I suspect this is a stupid question but its driving me crazy. What is the green channel testing?

Hello Mark, thank you for the inquiry and this is not a stupid question. Channel C (Green) is the third channel on the 4 Channel PicoScope and whilst it is active here (+-20 V) nothing is connected to the channel. (We can see this occasional y in the back drop.) The answer therefore is the scope is measuring nothing but ambient noise, I hope this helps.
