I'm addicted to this show, honestly. I love the mix of the economic, sociological and psychological, plus the humour.

All I need when I'm feeling a little under the weather is a good dose of Phil and Kirstie. They just do the trick, just love this programme, it's truly the best. Thank you both so very much. 😊❤

Initially I wondered why John is being so “difficult”, then when he said “it’s our final move” it hit me. You can see how important this last stage of their life is for him! Good for them ❤

Yes, sure. You would love to see every single couple every single year but that’s literally not possible. They can’t give us an update on 300 plus couples every year lol

@thehungrygoldfish Why did you have to be so nasty to that person? There are programmes that have follow ups on thd house hunters, infact the UK network that produced them had follow ups several years down the line.

These two couples are lovely. They were both able to compromise and each ended up with gorgeous houses: sea view which can't be built out, and a true cosy country cottage.

Absolutely love the second house shown to Yvonne and Lisa. I'm gonna be incredibly cliche and say it looks like a perfect village house for a family of kids running around in short pants and exploring. Maybe none of that they want and in no way anything I'm ever gonna have but If I were writing a pre-WWII story, this would be my inspiration! Sweet daydream house.

Great episode, thanks! My only bugaboo is when people say it's their final move, or their forever home. Why put that kind of pressure on yourself? It's just a house, and if you end up not liking it and wanting to move again, so be it! Don't be afraid of change.

The second, Chalet-home shown to Yvonne and Lisa was outstanding. I am happy that they are content in the house they chose, but in my opinion that second house was absolutely stunning! So much character, and very original. Hopefully the second home went to better hands that can really bring out it's features and keep it's period charm.

I liver very close to a local railway line (20m). After a while, you stop hearing them. And trains are short, it's not a long irritating noise.
@jonijoni114510 ай бұрын
Funny....I grew up in two small towns with the railroad tracks behind both houses' back yards. The rhythmic sounds of a train, and the slow, mournful train whistle in the middle of the night brings back nostalgia for me, and a sense of security and comfort. Everything is perspective.

............I was NOT expecting that, the fact that the owners would settle for $325,000 pounds when the original selling price was $349,000 pounds. Wow, the owners must have been really motivated to sell because they didn't even come back to the girls with a counter offer. Good on them, congrats, ladies.

John has a vision. When someone has a vision of what they want, and what they want to CREATE, it's no good saying "Compromise." ! It's as good as saying; "Don't want what you want." which is idiotic. How does Phil not get that?
